Not recommended 100%, please be careful! Don’t by anything by this way! They are rubbish. They don’t leave you write a complain of a seller, because that would be bad for them! Don’t buy with them. There are other ways of having a good price for a product. When the product arrive broken they say it’s a vintage product and could need maintenance: but f… if would need a maintenance could be sorted, but I have received two products directly to the rubbish. And when I got a good purchase they answer they pruduct is not ok so they can’t provide it. So you never win, you ever lost, they don’t penalty the seller because they win commission with each sell by both sides, you pay a supposedly protection insurance in the purchase and later you don’t have even assistance when the product doesn’t arrive. Crazy. I bought 10 products and 90% I was not happy. I thought ok, could be bad luck. But after 10 Purchases I have knowledge and experience to say NEVER AGAIN. Not recommended at 200%.

If it was possible to give zero star to Etsy that is exactly what I would have given them, they are a scam and I don't know why that website is still in existence. I ordered a shopping cart token from PrintCraftIreland in Dublin since June 27th and up till now I still have not received them. I tried tracking the items but was asked to register as a customer which I did and they kept sending me code to verify my email but the codes never worked, even though I requested for the codes to be resent which they did still the same outcomes, they never worked and so I couldn't register and I couldn't track the items. I decided to write them an email but it came back not sent because the domain could not be found. As I earlier stated this company or whatever they are is a scam and the public should be made aware of this, they are scamming people and taking people's money for nothing. Please and please don't ever shop with Etsy.
Wrong starter plant shipped
I ordered a white lava elephant ears starter plant which is supposed to be green leaves with white veins and I ended up with a plant that had black leaves. I was refunded but how do you get that wrong and ship me something completely different. I also had to wait 2 months to get it.
A big change in buying from ETSY
Used to buy on Etsy years ago when it was small businesses in the USA. Loved everything I got….NOW~ its being taken over by the China markets where there is NO RESALUTION TO ORDER PROBLEMS… It is now just another scam site……...

AVOID THIS APP! If you're looking for an honest and reliable platform to buy or sell, this isn't it. The marketplace is filled with dishonest users, and when issues arise, customer support provides little to no meaningful assistance. The so-called buyer/seller protection program is ineffective and fails to deliver the protection it promises. Whether you're purchasing or selling, you risk being left without adequate support if something goes wrong. I would not recommend this platform to anyone. Proceed with caution.

Dealing with psychopath seller on Etsy. DO NOT BUY from CoastalNavyJane (Designed by Lauren). She is located in New Canaan CT USA. I ordered a blue bag from them. They sent a white bag. Shipping was delayed. Ordered July 2, still no refund July 11. Seller accusing me falsely of damaging the item (even though I did not and it has not even been rec'd back to her yet!) WOW! She stated she did not trust me to send it back to her. Why? I submitted tracking number. Then she calls me names, says I'm belligerent, calls me more names in addition to provoking me. This sick chick seriously needs therapy and a mental health check. Meanwhile Etsy is still doing nothing to resolve and get my refund. AVOID this seller and Etsy. Shop elsewhere, save your sanity!

ETSY sucks! Horrible site, untrustworthy people, missed dates, seller did not meet deadlines. I ordered some wall art and it was not shipped as promised - the seller blamed his health, the weather and UPS - the seller and ETSY refused to follow their own cancellation policy and I am stuck with a $375 piece of junk.

I joined Etsy thinking I was going to join something great and worth doing. Shortly after this I was surprised with great disappoints. I tried to buy a shirt that I designed and was kicked off my own account. Being told that you are not allowed to buy your own merchandise.bi contacted Etsy to see what was going on? Where my membership was fixed and I could continue selling. And my store was unfrozen. But this is were I learned that now my account has been downgraded to 70% profit of any purchase made which lets Etsy steal all your money on your products and you not make any money with a promise that at some point this will be lifted but no official answer to when. So I pushed through and eventually they were taking money out of my account to pay for products and then not paying me, Etsy is a criminal originzation that you sign up for that had full communist totalitarianism over your bank account and rights on the platform without your say. Stead clear of selling anything on this garbage platform they stole over a thousand from me and shorty after I heard from a friend they stole $300000 from her friend. This is nothing more then a farce that is made to drain people of money and will.
Etsy vendor being abusive and verbally violent
On June 24, 2026 I have ordered a set of 3 wall prints from a vendor through Etsy. The vendor is called Art Nevaeh (Ms Katherine). On July 6, 2026 I checked with the vendor as the prints did not arrive. The vendor checked with the courier (i.e. Evri) as the delivery seemed to have issues. There was some back and forth with the vendor and I eventually ended up escalating the matter with Etsy who refunded me to amount. On July 9, at the end of this conversation, Art Nevaeh messaged me the following on Etsy "Ok this is the last time I'm replying to you because you are literally the stupidest person I've never had to deal with: 24th of June was not 3 weeks ago: please learn the difference between numbers. All items are made to order, we do not have already made stock. The order was made and shipped on time: for the very very very very last time: I cannot help if an order is delayed in transit (if I could... I definitely would). Out of the thousands of customers I've ever had: you are the worst. You are a 1 in 10,000 idiot". I think this speaks by itself and there is not much to add other than I was never rude or disrespectful to Art Nevaeh nor Etsy. I informed Etsy of Art Nevaeh's message above but they dismissed me saying they were emailing me and they haven't as of today.

Paradise for scamers. Payed and did not receive anything. The „ Secure purchasing“ thing they offer means nothing. They didnt help me at all … just told me that they cant do anything … so this is a Marketing gagg to make you feel Save from scams. At the end etsy is not a Professional Provider just a Plattform Even worse than eBay … dont buy expensive stuff there or your Money will be gone :D PS: the reviews also mean nothing …. Wanted to buy a dress for graduation, nothing too expensive around 150 us dollars. My order was cancelled without warning 2 fricking times and then when I ask why they told me: "your account was permanently suspended for violating Etsy’s Terms of Use (...) Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we’ve determined that your account does not qualify for reinstatement." Wow. Just wow. My first purchase and its like that. Sorry to small businesses, I really wanted to support yall but etsy is just horrible.

Etsy suspended our shop without any explanation. We have worked day and night to build our business honestly, and this decision has been devastating. We have always tried to follow Etsy's policies and provide excellent service to our customers. Suspending a shop without a clear reason is unfair. We respectfully ask Etsy to review our account, explain the reason for the suspension, and give us the opportunity to resolve any issues.

Absolute trash website
Absolute trash website. I feel bad for people who pay the outrageous fees to use this. It allowed me to spend my money and buy things without creating an account, but will not give me any shipping information at all on what I spent my money on.... unless I create an account. Im assuming so they can make even more money off my personal information. Good luck vendors. I hope a better platform comes out for you guys.
