I am another disappointed customer
I am another disappointed customer. I bought from a business who use Etsy as its shop window (TopcraftArt in Bradford) and their product was very poor quality. I can't return it as it was custom made. I knew I was taking a risk and I was proved right. Avoid Etsy and TopcraftArt. Not recommended.

My payment is still being held
My payment is still being held. My account was closed in December 2025, and it has now been almost 10 months. Despite waiting for such a long time, I have still not received my funds.
I am also unable to contact customer support because there is no support option available in my account. This has been a very frustrating experience. I do not understand why sellers are not being helped in situations like this.
Please review my case urgently and release my payment as soon as possible. I would appreciate your prompt response and assistance.

Etsy is at large Promoting Mass-Produced Cheap Goods
Etsy has in large drifted away from its original purpose of providing a platform for handcrafted and vintage items. I bought an anklet bracelet that was clearly mass-produced and arrived in a simple plastic bag covered in Chinese writing. The listing's photos and one review showed what appeared to be a completely different finish, presented in a nice little pouch.
I reported it to Etsy, but they didn't seem interested. I was simply told to wait, so I eventually had to ask my bank to recover the money. Really disappointing.
It's a shame because there are still so many genuinely talented independent sellers on Etsy, but experiences like this undermine trust in the platform.
Long-Time Seller Experiencing Unexplained Traffic Decline and Excessive Etsy Ad Costs
I have been a successful Etsy seller for years and have consistently maintained Star Seller status. This year, however, my shop's performance has changed dramatically despite not making any negative changes to my business.
My shop views have dropped by nearly 40%, new listings are barely being seen, and I am now being charged close to $2 per click on Etsy Ads—even for listings categorized as having a lower click cost. In all the years I've advertised on Etsy, I have never experienced costs this high.
What has been most frustrating is the lack of meaningful support. When I contacted Etsy, I wasn't looking for basic advice about optimizing my shop or reviewing my statistics. I had already done all of that. Instead, I asked for an investigation into why my advertising costs have increased so dramatically and why my shop's visibility has declined so significantly.
Unfortunately, I received generic responses suggesting I review my Shop Stats, adjust my budget, or continue optimizing my listings. None of those recommendations addressed my actual concerns or explained the unusually high advertising costs.
I requested that my case be escalated to management and asked for a review of my account and a refund of what I believe are excessive ad charges. As a long-time seller who has invested heavily in Etsy, I expected a more thorough investigation rather than scripted troubleshooting.
I'm sharing this review because I hope Etsy will begin taking these concerns seriously. Sellers deserve transparent explanations when advertising costs increase substantially and shop performance changes without any clear reason. At a minimum, I expect customer support to investigate account-specific issues instead of relying solely on generic responses.
Advertised item was not what I received. A cheap made lunch bag instead of the backpack that I order. I will not order from them again. And will let friends and family know not to order from them. False advertisement.

I bought a suede bag which is falling…
I bought a suede bag which is falling apart and Etsy are going round in circles with how to claim a refund. Easy to buy impossible to return is my best way to sum them up. Never use them again.

THEY WILL NEVER REFUND YOUR MONEY
horrible experience I purchased a mirror of about 200 euro , the item never arrived, I applied for a refund and what I have got is that "£183.96 was added to your Etsy gift card & credit balance"!!!!!. I cannot believe how this can even be LEGAL since it is a FRAUD , I paid for a specific item, they did not deliver the item so my money is supposed to fly back into MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!! be careful and refrain from using them

Run Away, they are street corner hustle scam business.
Run, and run fast. Don’t even look at doing business with these crooks.
My story- I opened a new shop on the platform July 2oth to sell my items. All my (3 listings is all i got up and posted) designs were 100 original and designed by me made by me , no outsourcing , no IP violations as these were functional designs for home and office that I made with my cad software and 3d printers. I made 3 sales and shipped out all orders in less than 24 hours-2 days before expected to. No shop complaints and had gotten one favorite on my shop. Woke up to see my shop was shut down with no email, no communication and my attempts to email them (this is the only way they communicate and they have zero phones to call) but they say my email is invalid. I was using my home email address that I have had for 11 years and used to set up my store that they emailed when I got an order, did their verification face scan with drivers license and have real id among tsa pre-check so I’m verified as a born citizen of the USA. Did bank verification with an account I have had for 26 years+. No money was paid to me for my sales and I’m out the set up $29 fee and listing fees. This company is a scam. I’m an honest person and did everything right and this is what they did to me. Their platform says they hold sellers to high professional standards while they run their business end like a street corner hustle. Trust me and run away from this company.

"NicoleLiShop" - Custom Sports Jerseys on ETSY
NicoleLiShop - Custom Hand designed Sports Jerseys....
I’m genuinely impressed by the Etsy store
"NicoleLiShop" and the talented designer behind it all. They specialize in custom shirts, sports Jerseys, and a wide range of other items. They make the entire process feel personal & fun. Prices are fair given the level of care & detail they put into every order. They spends actual time designing your order exactly as you imagine.
Communication is standout—prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They’re open to last-minute changes without making you feel rushed, and they handle feedback with professionalism and real expertise.
The results are tangible: high-quality products that look and feel great, with stitching and craftsmanship that stand up to everyday wear.
I’ve placed 6 orders back-to-back because the service and products sold themselves.
NicoleLiShop is the kind of find that makes you believe in great small businesses again.
Overall, this store is a rare gem.

So many scammers consider yourself…
So many scammers consider yourself lucky if you even manage to get anything you buy
Any time I have to contact Etsy Customer Service they start with a bunch of automated messages that don't help what so ever. Then when you do get a live person (yunshimla) they are not helpful, the issue is always on your side not a technical issue on their side & if you are persistent in trying to get help they abruptly cut off the conversation & leave you hanging. The conversation always ends with I will have to forward this to our dedicated team & someone will be in contact with you via email to assist you further. That usually takes about 2 weeks no matter what the issue is & by then they have already corrected their technical issue. Their customer service is non-existent & if I could I would give them ZERO stars for all 15 years I've been on that platform.
