So the first of three orders arrived not to my satisfaction. The corn did not arrive in the best shape , half of them did not make it from shipping to California. I spoke with customer service which was very pleasant and prompt .
yet my time table for corn was off in which a week late will not hurt and I will have a staggered harvest in October. WEll , After all of the excellent work in shipping out my replacement order UPS delivered to the wrong address ( we are in city limits and deliveries regularly ) so now I am two weeks off . The first order of corn that survived is doing GREAT and already getting tassles and silk, So quality of product is really good. I am getting my 3rd shippment tomorrow. Looking to make the next review 5 stars. Packing is top notch .

Summer Carnival Hibiscus, has the largest flowers I've ever seen from any Hibiscus. PERIOD!!!! I only received this QUART sized plant this year, and is already blooming. I really love adding to my Hibiscus collection, and I love supporting family owned businesses. I also love the fact that when you say it's a QUART SIZED HIBISCUS PLANT, it really is, and not a starter plant in a quart size. Grow Joy is hands down my go to place to shop for Hibiscus. I finally decided to plant asparagus after putting it off forever not knowing how long I was going to stay in my house. My raised beds keep multiplying so decided to finally plant asparagus and strawberries. I wanted older crowns and purchased 20 from GrowJoy. Planted 12" deep, no slow backfill, just filled them in all the way. I was shocked when, only 1 week later I have shoots coming up already! Couldn't be happier!

I ordered my tomato plant from Gro Joy on April 20, 2026. As of May.23rd I have received nothing. I bought six tomato plants from them for $67.00.
Every time I call them, I get their voicemail because they never answer their phone.
I have prepared a whole container garden on my back deck was six pots and have no plants. I trusted these people and every time I call I get nothing but excuses please do everything you can to avoid doing business with this company. Dano Blue Island, Illinois.

Dan, we’re sorry for the frustration with your order. When the order was placed, a later ship date was requested, so we adjusted the shipping schedule. Unfortunately, we missed getting it out the following week, and that delay is on us. After that, you let us know you would pick the order up, then later asked us to ship it instead. Your tomato plants are now on the truck and should arrive within 1 to 2 days. We understand how frustrating it is to have containers ready and be waiting on plants, and we’re sorry this took longer than expected.

Plants arrived on schedule. Packaging included excellent damage protection during transit. Potting soil in each plant was properly moist and every single plant showed vigorous and healthy growth. Two weeks after planting growth rate was amazing. Couldn't have asked for better.

I received four beautiful and healthy Dollar Princess Fuchsia plants. They've been planted in the two back corner beds of my fenced backyard and have already grown inches in the very few short weeks they've been in the ground. I preordered plants early and the ship date for Kentucky was April 19. I made plans for receiving the plants so I'd have garden ready for setting plants into garden during that week. When ship expected date past with no notice of shipment I began to worry a bit and sent email to grow joy customer service. They responded quickly and plants were shipped on April 21 and received by me April 22, perfect timing for my garden. The plants were packed perfectly and all were in excellent shape looking healthy and ready to grow and produce. I will be buying Grow Joy plants in my future and highly reccomend them to anyone seeking healthy established potted plants to kick start your grow. Great customer, shipping, care and dependable strong plants.

The first year I ordered my tomato plants from grow joy they were great and produced lots of large tomatoes, but last year I was very disappointed in my tomato plants from grow joy all the tomatoes were very small about the size of cherry tomatoes very disappointing

I had ordered some hardy hibiscus 3-28-25. They delivered on 4-25-25. It's now 6-14-25 and our Luna White hibiscus has bloomed 3 absolutely gorgeous flower buds. These flowers are HUGE. I couldn't have had a better experience purchasing from this place. I received my plants all in great and healthy condition all the way in California. Transactions and communications were easy. My mom loves these flowers, and we are excited to see the other plants bloom. I highly recommend this nursery. The prices are more than reasonable, the plants are healthy, and transactions are simple.

I was looking over and over for a certain plant and was having so much difficulty in finding them.
The plants that I was looking for are called
Surdiva Blue Violet Improved Scaevola Plant. I was able to get them last year, but this year I was having such a problem probably because of the amount of rain we were getting.
I was actually desperate at this point so I did a Google search for this particular plant and another company came up first, but I wasn’t impressed so then I moved on to the second and I’m glad that I did.
These were shipped overnight and when I first got them and I opened the box, I was a little disappointed because they didn’t seem to arrive in very good shape, but there was an insert within the box so I read it and it said that before they are shipped, they are trimmed & then packed.
I reached out to the merchant last week. I believe it was this past Saturday, June 7. They got back to me the next business day and gave me some hints and advice and they said don’t worry they will pick up. Tina said that if they didn’t, they would have definitely shipped me out two more and now I really believe that.
I dealt with Tina in Customer Service and she was absolutely outstanding. I had not ever encountered such a lovely customer service representative.
So I put the plants in the sun with a little water and prayed for the best that was on Saturday the seventh of June…then Saturday passed, Sunday passed Monday
then passed & I said gee…they don’t look good then finally yesterday, June 11, I went outside and to my surprise, they were really starting to pick up.
Now they look actually just as good as the other ones that I bought locally.
Next time I know better and I will order directly from them. They have great service fast shipping and also a nice selection of flower plants.
