HomeExchange promotes sustainable…

HomeExchange promotes sustainable travel and lets us find new vacation spots we wouldn't find otherwise, as well as in a cost effective way. The whole family loves staying in a home where we can experience the location as if we lived there. Being able to let others experience our city is also wonderful, and we know that it's being well looked after by another family who offers their own home to someone. We've done 2 reciprocal exchanges, stayed at someone's place for GuestPoints 2 times, and let others stay with us 3 times for GuestPoints. All went perfect! The HomeExchange app makes it easy to find homes and communicate before deciding on an exchange, and the insurance included in the membership makes us feel secure.

The home exchange site is well

The home exchange site is well organized. My compliments. It only took me a lot of time to establish a contact by phone because there was a misunderstanding regarding two of our home exchanges in Holland which we had on the same day (check out house 2 and check in to house 1 )

Home exchange is not only about…

Home exchange is not only about travelling cheaply and having great homes. Home exchange is about community and relationships. 10 stars to home exchange

easy to communicate and gives great exchange opportunities!

An opportunity for adventure!

Opens up amazing opportunities to explore the world. Have met some great people and genuine friends too! cannot recommend enough. Any extra improvement would be a "last minute- lucky dip" type aspect of the app where last minute availability is put on so people can do reciprocal swaps for a forthcoming weekend etc at the last minute!

HomeExchange is a wonderful program for…

HomeExchange is a wonderful program for meeting like-minded travelers and people who would open their homes and share them with you. For me, it tells me that I can.travel sustainably and to so many different places without investing in something that increases the carbon footprint or that requires the building of high-rise complexes, just for the purpose of temporary visitors – – travelers. There is an investment of time to reach out and meet your prospective hosts and also to prepare your own home that it will be welcoming to others. And yet, both have been of great benefit to myself and my family. We did have some interesting glitches when trying to communicate with HomeExchange – – as a bit of a time lag before receiving a response – – but thanks to the competence of my host in a recent experience, everything worked out well.

I've been on HomeExchange for the past 5 years

I've been on HomeExchange for the past nearly 5 years with close to 20 exchanges and all of them have been a successful and enriching experience with the help of the great tools and support provided by HomeExchange. A great, "human" and healthy alternative to commercial accomodations.

Like Staying With Friends

Travelling with Home Exchange felt like staying in a friend's house. We loved the home where we stayed.

Welcoming

HomeExchange.com is an easy-to-use platform offering opportunities to meet welcoming people in wonderful cities around the world. Our recent experience, a long weekend away in Gatineau, Quebec/Ottawa, Ontario, was thoroughly enjoyable.

HomeExchange has been valuable service for me since 2019

I have been using HomeExchange for the last 7+ years & it has been amazing. It has been a game changer in the economics of international travel. We have had great experiences & find this service very valuable.

Both booking a place and renting out our space has always been smooth and easy on this platform

Home Exchange is the BEST way to exchange!

We LOVE Home Exchange and use it in addiiton to AirBnB & VRBO. We were also members of Third Home but will NOT be renewing our membership to that platform because unlike Home Exchange there are times there is NO communication with guests, and no ability to vet guests based on reviews or pre-booking questions. Anyway, of the two major excxhange platforms we strong recommend going with Home Exchange! Happy travels!

Great way to travel and meet locals

Great way to travel and meet local folks. I love welcoming HomeExchange guests into my home and helping them get to know the local area.

HomeExchange made this trip possible

We would not have been able to afford this trip without HomeExchange. HomeExchange sent timely reminders and suggestions to prepare for a good experience. With multiple exchanges occurring, the reminders were a tremendous help.
