We traveled to Bali to celebrate as my birthday gift. Our experience was out of this world. MY husband and I were lucky to secure a stay within the famous, Jane Goodall endorsed, Green Village close-by Ubud, Bali, Indonesia within a bamboo home. The Green Village is known for its environmental conscience in building as well as its innovative school that is raising tomorrow’s leaders to solve issues of climate change, societal shifts and conservation. It was a dream to stay there and an experience something so special that we won’t soon forget. We had “concierge” support and a crew of locals to help us navigate the short distance to UBud and beyond to water temple purification ceremonies, Fire Dance shows, rice terraces and more. We felt loved and seen. We will return one day with our adult kids!

We have had a great first experience as a host of a GP exchange. The family that stayed in our home were very helpful and set a very high standard for future exchanges. We are looking forward to our first stay as guests in the coming months

We’ve been using HomeExchange for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. We can’t say enough good things about the experience. It’s been incredibly easy to use, and while the interface isn’t quite as polished as Airbnb, the overall experience has been exceptional. We’ve had nothing but positive exchanges, have recommended HomeExchange to many of our friends, and will definitely continue using it for years to come. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal and rewarding way to travel.

HomeExhange is better than Airbnb because it is about sharing homes with each other, not about trying to be a hotel with perfect everything. I love HomeExhange because it still emphasize exchanging homes, it's not commercialized like Airbnb where you get punished if you don't accept every exchange even if it doesn't suit you. At HomeExhange you don't have to have the calendar perfectly mapped out to not get punished. And you get to have affordable vacations with the family rather than pay 2-4000 GBP/USD to stay somewhere. That is why I now use HomeExhange and not Airbnb.

Trustworthy people and a trustworthy company. I’ve had only positive experiences. Even when a host canceled at the last minute, HomeExchange always found me an alternative very quickly. It’s a great way to travel. I always feel welcome, and I feel safe letting guests stay in my home. I recommend it.

We are enjoying using Home Exchange as a platform. I think it works well for families over the size of 4 where hotels and needing 2 rooms per night come into the equation. Also when your home is either conveniently located or old or with character. Then your house is attractive to others. I do worry though when your exchange falls through you have little come back. A genuine concern when flights are booked & paid for. I think there should be better compensation in these instances. And a higher deposit for breakages etc. For now we are having a positive experience using HE.

We loved idea of swapping homes and HomeExchange is working really great for us! We like profiles are verified and there are reviews of the offers. We liked filters although it was not easy to choose from all of suitable and great offers. We were also surprised by amount of interesting offers we have got. I have already recommended this website to my friends.
