Extremely disappointing customer support
I've been a frequent Humble Bundle customer, including Humble Choice and multiple bundle purchases. Unfortunately, my recent experience with customer support was very disappointing.
Two game keys from a bundle expired before I was able to redeem them. While I understand publisher redemption deadlines exist, I was surprised there was no reminder before they expired. I contacted support hoping for any form of assistance or alternative resolution, but after several exchanges, the only response was that no exceptions, store credit, or discounts could be offered. I was extremely disappointed.
The complete lack of flexibility has seriously affected my trust in the platform.

If you enjoy getting ripped off use Humble Bundle
If you enjoy getting ripped off and someone taking your credit card information and abusing it then by all means accept services from this merchant. No customer service, charging my card without notifying where the charge comes from, and avoids communication.
It's a ripoff. It purported to represent Corel and offered CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2026 for Mac for a "pay what you will" price, with a portion going to charity. I paid $100, since I was a previously registered owner of CorelDRAW for Windows since version 1 in the 90s.
It gave me an activation key, which I copied and pasted during the installation process. I got "The activation key you entered is not valid."
I tried to get support but only got bots. I opened a "ticket," and was told it would take 13 days to be addressed. I'm not holding my breath. I'm going to start the PayPal chargeback process, or do so through my credit card issuer if PayPal crosses me. They have in the past.

Very Disappointing Experience
I bought Humble Choice and only after paying discovered that one of the games was region locked in my country, with no clear warning shown before purchase. I contacted support and had to wait a long time for a response, only to receive a generic reply saying they couldn’t offer a replacement or even a partial refund. I understand that region locks can exist, but selling a bundle without clearly warning customers and then refusing to do anything about it is unacceptable. This was my first and last Humble Choice purchase, and I will never buy from Humble again.

Lost key access
They occasionally move up expiration dates for keys after purchase without warning. Customer service is very slow and will usually just say "too bad" for whatever issue you have.

Support and security are suck
It was very good, I liked the monthly games too. But today my account was hacked and they bought gift keys using my saved credit card. Interestingly, I received no notification whatsoever that someone unauthorized was trying to log into my account, but when I tried to log in from a completely different location (which is not my residence), I received a warning email with a CONFIRMATION CODE THAT I HAD TO ENTER TO LOG IN!!!!! They shorted me by nearly 100 euros (thank goodness it was only that much), but the website provided no security notification.
I wrote to support right away (if you see this, please reply to the ticket with ID 2839432). Half a day has passed and no response has arrived, but from what I’ve read, it could even take weeks.
If they don't give a refund, I will take the matter to legal channels.
After you bought something, you should rather delete the card data!
Supplied with incorrect engine asset and problem was never solved.
Bought an asset bundle. It advertised Unreal Engine assets except the one I needed most from the bundle redeemed a Unity version.
Told support, supplied them with screenshots and information. Told them the issue is probably on the asset suppliers end and they should bring up this issue to them.
Ticket is left on hold for 2 months then support comes back with a generic response that isn't even related to the issue at hand and closes the ticket.
Absolutely dreadful. Will think twice about getting anything from them again.

Great offers and bundles!
I probably bought more than I should here but you always get a lot of products for a bargain price (that's why my games backlog will never be finished..) I buy 50% game- and 50% software bundles and I've never had any issues getting codes for steam, unreal marketplace or any other.
Would definitely recommend Humble Bundle many times over. The fact that some money goes to charity is great as well.
You are not guaranteed a key. I ordered something for my son nearly a month ago and whenever I try to access the key that I bought, it says that the keys are temporarily unavailable and that Humble Bundle will reach out when they become available. How can a company sell something that they don't even own? If I buy it, I should have access to it immediately, not be put on hold for a month. Never buying with them again.

Digital product out of stock for 4+ days – Unacceptable waiting time
While Humble Bundle does show a warning that keys are temporarily exhausted, keeping customers waiting for over 4 days after taking full payment is unacceptable for a digital product.Vaguely promising a restock "soon" without providing any transparency or a concrete timeline is highly customer-unfriendly. If a store is unable to deliver digital licenses within a reasonable timeframe (like 24–48 hours), they should pause sales instead of collecting customer money upfront and holding it interest-free. The support only sends automated boilerplate responses. Very disappointing service for paying customers.

Great site
I buy most of the game dev assets they sell each month and have been for awhile now and ive never once been let down, or had any issues so cant recommend these lads enough. And some of the money also goes to charity so thats a plus too.

Cheap games
Noticed the low rating, which i can't seem to figure out why that is. I've been buying games through humble bundle since 2013 maybe. When there was humble monthly, which now is called humble choice. I've never had issues, got tons of games for low price, so they deserve a higher score. The 4/5 i based on the expire date that more of the keys have. Why? If i bought the game, let ME choose when to redeem it or gift it off to another. Anyways, can only recommend.

I PAID FOR A PRODUCT I NEVER GOT ACCESS TO
Purchased a Humble Bundle for an environment art pack, as I was enthusiastic at the prospect of utilizing some of the assets to help me speed up the block-out phase of making my game prototype, and then after making the purchase; I needed to step away for a couple weeks to focus on some family matters that required my attention.
Once I got everything taken care of, I decided to go check out the assets, only to discover that the key had expired... No where, at any time during the purchasing process, was it ever made clear that I had a limited amount of time to use the product key to get access to the assets. I made a Help Ticket explaining the situation, and I provided all the information of the sale; It took them nearly 3 weeks to get back to me, and just had a generic copy-pasted rejection of being able to provide a refund or any store credit, even though they apologized for the fact that they didn't display the information regarding the limited window where we must use the key.
SO I PAID MONEY FOR LITERALLY NOTHING, and they aren't willing to even provide store credit.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THROUGH HUMBLE BUNDLE. Plenty of other actual companies that don't scam their customers.

You buy a bundle of games from them and…
You buy a bundle of games from them and then you don't realize until the end of the redemption process that "that" game is "out of stock" and you just don't get your game.
I wouldn't feel irritated by it so much but this information is not freely available until AFTER you have paid and redeemed keys to your steam account.
"out of stock" may be an appropriate excuse for people who are providing tangible products but this is just a joke.

I am writing this review to publicly…
I am writing this review to publicly denounce the deeply deceptive and borderline illegal business practices implemented by Humble Bundle (Ziff Davis / IGN) regarding their subscription models and bundle purchases.
Consumers pay upfront, in full, for specific digital products contractually advertised on their platform. However, Humble Bundle has developed a systemic habit of selling products they do not possess, resulting in chronic "out of stock" messages on paid keys. Instead of actively restocking and honoring their commercial agreements, they have now started implementing arbitrary, unannounced, and retroactive expiration deadlines on these choices.
Since their forced deadlines have passed, they have completely wiped out paid content from customer accounts, permanently locking paying consumers out of the digital products they legally bought. To make matters worse, when they do offer alternatives, they frequently alter orders without consent, forcing unwanted alternative platform keys onto users instead of the advertised Steam keys.
This is a textbook bait-and-switch strategy. Their customer support is entirely useless, closing tickets with automated copy-pasted responses and hiding behind their Terms of Service to justify stealing from customers. As an EU citizen, I want to remind Humble Bundle that your internal TOS does not supersede international consumer protection laws regarding non-delivery of prepaid services.

Gifts don't show any region warning and support is non existent
I bought Signalis as a Gift for a friend that live sin Germany. I live in Argentina and during the whole process of selecting the game to the checkout not a single region lock warning appeared. After I bought the game, my friend tried to add the game using the serial and the region lock appeared. Having no warning whatsoever in a digital games store today is a disgrace and a very basic thing you must provide especially if you're buying a gift. I added a support ticket with absolutely no response or interaction during 10 days so I decided to keep the game for myself and post this situation everywhere. I wouldn't recommend buying from humble anymore as lacking this type of basic and clear communication is mandatory, so who knows in what other areas you could get scammed like this. I'm never buying anything from humble bundle anymore.
