Issuu raised its prices by 450% with minimal notice to customers. I downgraded to a lower tier plan that still allows uploads up to 100MB. All of my previous publications were under that cap, however now Issuu is holding them hostage by saying that they exceed the cap. I've tried contacting support, but all I get is AI generated responses that are of no help. I now will have to find another vendor and reupload years worth of files. Or, I suppose I could pay Issuu the $2500 a year that it now demands. Not a happy customer.

Poor customer service, glitchy, messy, and costing more and more for less.

Customer service is impossible to get in touch with. Our organization needs to keep our publications private and restricted to members only, yet there was a glitch that made one of our unlisted publications appear in a basic search engine search/available to the public. I could not get in touch with customer service, only a robot that essentially said they may or may not get back with me. That was months ago. I had to delete the publication. The company continues to update their website and somehow make it more and more convoluted and difficult to navigate. Never seen anything like it. Additionally, they continue to put more and more features we have paid for behind pay walls, so we are now getting so much less than we originally paid for, but also paying more. Look for another alternative!

Stripped down to bare minimum offerings and previous options moved to highest subscription level even before my account reached its renewal date!!

Price tripled, documents inaccessible and no human support

After several years as a customer, our subscription price tripled from one year to the next. We have published hundreds of documents through the platform, and many are now inaccessible, even though our previous contract is still active and we have already paid the renewal. The biggest issue is that there appears to be no way to reach a real person who can help resolve the problem. Instead, we continue to receive AI-generated responses that do not address our situation. We are extremely disappointed and frustrated that we trusted this company with so many of our publications.

Huge price tag for what it is, not very much help offered

I have found that the general capabilities of the platform have not really improved over the decade we've been on it, there are annoying limitations and I have had very unhelpful experiences with customer service and am most often foisted off into the self-service help pages which never really help. The price tag is legit astronomical now.

After trying a number of other platforms, I am very satisfied with the ease, the end product, and the competitive cost of ISSUU.

I've used Issuu for over a decade but…

I've used Issuu for over a decade but suddenly this week all of my publications have disappeared. The billing system is not able to process credit cards or PayPal. I have contacted customer service and all responses have been from an AI chatbot and do not address my issues. Sadly, I will move my publications and money to another digital publishing platform.

Billing Issue Resolved in Short Order

I had a billing issue that I could not resolve on my own. I completed the online support form and within three hours it was completely resolved to my satisfaction. It's hard to find customer service that responds within the time frame they state and in a stress-free manner. I couldn't be more satisfied with Ella and the support team at Issuu.

Functionally fine, nothing outstanding – VERY expensive for anything other than basic functionality which makes upgrading prohibitive for small independent publishers.

CAPTCHA issues and Poor Customer Service

The prove your not a robot is extremely time consuming and is a bottleneck for our team. We have timed it and sometimes it takes 20 minutes just for it to accept your answers so you can upload your product. Poor customer service. AI tries to help solve any issues. can't speak with a person.

The app works terribly

The app works terribly. I experienced problems putting links in my post and they failed, I tried contacting technical support and an AI answered me. More than twenty-four hours have passed and I don't have a response or a solution to my problem. I'm considering switching to some platform that has better service and more stability. All of this started when they redesigned their website and everything appears smaller in the linking window. A complete mess, a shame, how you (all) operate.

The Issuu is bad Customer service

I have had an issue with Issuu about amendments not filtering through to my website and despite clearly explaining the issue and giving access to my account they still hadnt fixed it after 7 days. The customer service was appalling and they won't speak to you just email and sporadically as well despite me explaining the urgency. To cap it all they have also double charged us for the service!!
