It's hard to pinpoint exactly what was most interesting but I can tell there was nothing bad. I just know it made me think a lot and I remembered that a few months ago I had to speak and present the school year to a lot of parents. When I started I was nervous and a colleague helped me out but when I began to speak, my passion for what I wanted to share took over and it ended in spontaneous applause. Some parents and colleagues even came up to congratulate me. So I think what I gained most from the Summit is the understanding and the the feeling of "YES, I CAN DO THAT!" I am grateful for that.

Mindvalley’s Speaking and Influence 3-day Summit is far and away the best bang for your buck (especially considering it’s absolutely free!) Yeah, as in F-R-E-E access to an all-star lineup of what’s gotta be like the world’s most dynamic speakers! So then, you can only imagine how dull and uninspiring that whole shindig must be (heavy sarcasm here for anyone that may be a little slow on the uptake.) Cause this be like ‘MUST SEE TV!’ Far and away the hottest show in town (it also helps that these cats are a bit easy on the eyes, as well…prolly something to do with all that dynamic personality energy they exude!) 🙄 So then seriously, what else do you got going on that is more important than up leveling your life’s game? Cause these experts have done did the work for us by honing their crafts and all we gotta do is show up and then just sit there and shut up and effectively color by taking copious, albeit at times outside the lines of recognition notes while frantically trying to jot down all the wisdom they have to impart. That or if ya wanna make things a little easier, Mindvalley also offers VIP tickets to their live, virtual events for a small chunk of change and then, in addition to getting access to free Q&A sessions afterwards, you are also given recordings of the whole shebang and can then take notes that don’t look like a bunch of chicken scratches where you’re left wondering if the acronym was WTFM (as in ‘What The Fudge Man’) or more accurately WIFM (‘What’s In (it) For Me’) which refers to making your talk relatable to the me’s that comprise the collective we’s who’ve gathered to listen to your whole spiel in the first place. Oh and bonus, after the summit, Mindvalley offers everyone a chance to enroll in a more in-depth, deep dive program…and yes, you have to shell out a wee bit of cash for those, but come on, peeps, we all know that nothing (of real value) in life is ultimately for free, right? Well except, of course, for this Speaking & Influence Summit where the only investment is time and not your dime. Oh and one final thing worth noting. Should you really wanna grow more in life (and like why else are we here?) then I highly suggest you divest yourself of some cash and invest in a yearly Mindvalley membership. Then you’ll have access to a whole mess of the bess (BEST…come on, not everything rhymes!) 😜 ideas and ways to improve yourselves in a whole myriad of different ways. Like you name it, they prolly got it! From a Mindvalley Masterclass to a 40-Year-Old Thank You Letter across the World
I want to tell you a story that sounds like it was written by the universe itself.
It’s a story about a lost book, a timeless bond, and the sudden realization that I really have a story to tell.
Picture this: More than 30 years ago, a 20-year-old Romanian girl—fresh out of communism—steps into England. That girl was me. There, a wonderful woman named Joan Eadie showed me what boundless generosity looked like. I had seen Christmas trees before, but I had never experienced a Christmas so magical, or been loved and spoiled so deeply.
This weekend, I learned that Joan passed away at the incredible age of 104.
I am 55 now, and since I've decided to live until 110, I know she is up there watching over me as my guardian angel.
Her memory didn't bring me sadness; it sparked an urgent fire. It reminded me that we cannot afford to wait to say thank you.
Because more than 40 years ago, another magical thing happened. An American artist named Ana Maria Nicholson met my sister at a mountain resort.
She ended up gifting her a whole kilogram of books—and hidden among them was The Silva Mind Method.
For years, that book held a captivating energy. It was so powerful it felt like a book I almost didn't have the courage to read. Yet, it became my Bible. I carried it everywhere—through every city and every library.
Until one day, in Bucharest, the book completely and mysteriously vanished. I later bought a new copy, but it just didn't hold the same vibration or energy as the original.
I always wanted to find Ana Maria to thank her for changing my destiny. I recently found her on Facebook and sent an invite, but she hasn't replied yet, and I didn't want to intrude on her life.

I was honestly really surprised to learn that storytelling is the best way to present information. I’ve always felt that this is true but my professors always told me be direct when it comes to communicating, get to the point and state your facts.
