I received my doctorate at NCU and had a good experience with excellent mentors. However, with the recent acquisition I am not sure that NCU even exists anymore as the communications around this change have been conflicting and incomplete.
My experience at NCU was positive. It was challenging but not such a burden that I was not able to also give attention to my fulltime job. It required a lot of work on the weekends, but that was to be expected. The professors were accessible and helpful anytime I needed to contact them for assistance or clarification.
I’m in the middle of my doctorate program. The experience so far so good.
My Chair is/ was not engaging. She made the process very disturbing.
I’m happy with the education I received from NCU. It’s given me prestige at my firm because of my PhD. I do feel sometimes I could do more advanced research than what my job now as a financial advisor offers. However, people come to me more for advice on investments and my analysis on global events and how they may impact the economy and financial markets. I’m am also considering g teach part-time in one of the area schools to hone my teaching skills. NCU, keep doing what you’re doing.
NCU's program in marketing is excellent. What I don't agree with is that they use Turnitin to penalize the student. Other universities use it to help students, and others have stopped using it due to its flaws. Professors tell you one thing about the similarity index percentage and then tell you the opposite. So you end up with thousands of dollars in debt and don't finish your dissertation because the software with so many flaws eliminates you. And worst of all is that you do not participate in the case discussion and do not even read the paper presented. Thanks.
Northcentral University provided me with quality education and exceptional experience that is making a positive difference in my professional and personal life. Attending Northcentral was worth my time and money.

Hi, I am an alumni of NCU. After graduating, I worked as an economic policy analyst for the Government of Vietnam. Currently, I am a senior expert in Vietnam's Ministry of National Defense, in charge of issues related to Vietnam's defense diplomacy with countries in the ASEAN. Gaining a MBA from NCU hasn't helped me obtain employment in my field of study. NCU has nothing to offer graduates/alumni in terms of post graduation advancement. It is nice to have the degree, but would be much better to exercise the skills I learned at NCU in a job within my field.
Overall, my Ed.D. journey was positive. The plan was straight forward and 99% of my instructors were supportive and knowledgeable.
My experience at NCU was OK. The format of the classes was good, and I think the content of the program was very good. One main problem that I had was that the main instructor in my program knew little about my specialization. I had no meaningful feedback from her, so pretty much all learning was through my own efforts. I have been teaching at the college level for 20+ years, and I was hoping a doctorate would enable me to teach at a higher level (beyond community colleges). So far I've been rejected by every school I've applied to, so overall I didn't find much value in the degree. It did meet my personal goal of earning a doctoral degree, but it has done nothing for my career.
I graduated from NCU and found the school to be rigorous and very challenging. It requires extensive writing and conducting a quality research project in order to finish. I was assigned an advisor who helped me along the way. I can recommend the school for those wanting a quality degree.

I enjoyed taking classes through Northcentral University and would recommend NCU to anyone wishing to advance their education and career.
I am very satisfied with my experience I had throughout the years I did my DBA. Everything was perfect and even if some problems occured on the way people there, were very willing to solve them quickly and smoothly. My only dissappointment is that I dont have access any more to all those excellent e-libraries for my researches.
Not good cannot connect with my advisor. I keep being told I have not been online for 24 days when I am on constantly
I think as MBA graduates I like the experience,but when I want to go toward my doctorate I didn’t like the guess I more help to reach that goal.
