They never paid my insurance, so that they could buy a new policy.
Pennymac assumed my mortgage last year. This year, they sent me a notice that my homeowners (hazard) insurance had expired and they were going to purchase more expensive insurance, on my behalf. Come to find out, they never even contacted my insurance company, when they assumed the loan. My insurance agent was not even aware that the mortgage was no longer held by the initial company, from closing on the house. The insurance was still active, but only just barely, because *PENNYMAC NEVER PAID THE BILL* from the escrow account.
I have had a handful of mortgages, in the past, each of which has been assumed by another company during the first year, as happened in this case. This is the first time the assuming company has ever failed to complete the basic steps required, on their end. Complete loss of trust and I would never willingly do business with them, again.

The only employee you have worth anything is Margaret if it wasn't for her outstanding work I would never have went the distance for this refy. Every other person involved in this deal was incompetent and useless you should give maggie a raise and replace all the rest

The process was so easy. The initial Loan Officer was wonderful to deal with and was in communication with me the entire way until the next step of the process, which was a different person. That also was easy and painless so to speak. My closing was actually moved up because everything was approved so quickly.

The entire process was very easy. Sofia was great! All the people involved were very helpful. Everything was done online except for the signing of the documents. That was done at our home. I highly recommend Penny Mac!
