I've used free CAD programs in the past but they lack many essential features, and then later, I paid for 2D CAD subscriptions. I discovered with ProgeCAD, I could buy a 3D program for the annual price of the competitors 2d yearly subscription program. ProgeCAD 2025 was good with a few glitches. ProgeCAD 2026 fixed most of those issues. The geolocator brings in a photo background and the ICAD block brings in objects. The steel shapes is great time saving tool. The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars was the glitch during the initial install of ProgeCAD 2027. Although this was likely my fault, there was a full day delay between responses. Anway, great program!

I've only been using this software for a few days... but I have to say it is actually BETTER than Autodesk AutoCAD! I import/export DWG files into my Sprinkler design software and for BIM. This is great! And, not having to pay thousands of dollars each year? PRICELESS

I was over a month late doing the upgrade and was expecting trouble. There weren't any problems. Upgrade process was trouble free with good instructions. Links to upgrade sequences were furnished at every decision point with recommendations affecting my decisions.

I am happy with the CAD program I have only used it a little …….. so far I am traveling now and I wonder if you have a manual in PDF form so I can learn some new features without carrying the weight Also I have a 12 year old daughter that is interested in learning the program. ProgeCAD emulates AutoCAD perfectly. for my work the cost point is perfect, the support to help me navigate has been terrific. I is intuitive and fluid to use. I as able to import my Autocad Plot, print, and font libraries seamlessly. I appreciate the hard work the ProgCad folks have done and the solid reliability of the product. it is way easier to use than bricscad which I tried for several years, too many steps, other CAD program seem to seed my computer with things I don't trust. i trust ProgeCAD and the IntelliCAD groups integrity.

Way too confusing. I should have been able too open the version I had click in it somewhere and update so my drawing would follow. Now I have to import into the new version that’s dumb. It’s not cheaper than AutoCad ,with one license you get the windows version and Mac version with AutoCad. With your you have to. It both.
