I had a issues getting my rewards and most of the time I just give up but not today and i emailed them and was quickly and efficiently helped I was amazed! Thanks receipt hog been a customer for years and I will continue to be!

Doesn't recognize valid receipts

Doesn't recognize valid receipts. Takes 10x longer to accumulate points. Fetch is much better app.

First I love this app. It makes saving receipts fun and interesting! Second, Julian on the Receipt Hog Support Team is very helpful and understanding! I appreciate the great service!

I'm going to give the application a 4.5…

I'm going to give the application a 4.5 myself overall so far. They are legit on what they say and they do pay our fast as well. Sometimes it doesn't read the receipts correctly so it may reject them...Yet you can usally just try to re-shoot the image in a different way and it will accept it. It does take a touch of work in that manner but as long as it is viewing the images correctly it certainly does what it says.

Fantastic customer service

Julian was super helpful and responded extremely fast! I had some technical issues and they went above and beyond to resolve them. Awesome support!

Always flagging receipts as old and it's from that day.

So many times they mark the receipt as old and it's literally from the same day. It's always a fight to get the points and ends up being a headache. There are other eady apps that aren't as frustrating.

Receipt scanning

Bad experience scanning receipts. They will check off that. They read the date in the mount. And when you send it in a day or 2 later, it shows that they had not been able to read the receipt The higher the amount of the receipt, the more problems it has to read.

Not really worth your time

I have done this and Fetch since Feb 2025. Since than Fetch I have received $75 in gift card and Receipt Hog $0. Not worth your time.

Great Receipt Redemption Program

I really haven't had any problems with "Receipt Hog". Any and every time I had sum type if problem with the app, Customer Service has always been there to resolve the problem as best as they could. I am having a problem with the "E-Mail Connect" that I cant get resolve within the system for some unknown reason but, overall, Receipt Hog is one of the best Receipt Redemption programs out there. So, Receipt Hog representatives, Keep Up The Amazing Work!!!

I work at a retail store so most of my receipts come from 1 location. But I can only download 1 per day of one place. I haven't seen any joy with the tickets I get, I've had this app for at least a year. So it's a must shop multiple place app but I'm hopeful I'll get $40 soon

I find zero customer service

I find zero customer service, hove no idea how to get in touch with someone, if anyone knows how to get to a human customer service rep.

Initial interaction

Initial interaction unable to log back in after creating new profile with an intentional password too a profile toussant 84 a gmail. Tried forget password after tapping the Receipt Hog icon in the email, welcoming back to the app without the access to the where too find the confirmation code input like ALL apps do when you poke their icons in the email for code entry. So I then tried forgot password; I'm still hoping and patient the help to do so will reach the email this year as the other email so swift came in as be able to get started. While loading first receipt I notice that trying to if adding a second receipt and you would like to change your mind. You would have to dismiss the entire process and start from scratch. The process is long and tiring where apps are make things simplified and easier of our busy life's. Where time is money the lengths of time to get set may you money in an economy where Cash is King and time is money. This I can only believe is slow any businesses revenue down and stop a high turn over of returning customers that find another app which does the same with a better interface performance!!!!

problem solved immediately

My problem was solved immediately after I contacted Receipt Hog. They did a great job of letting me know what to do as I am not really computer savvy. I could easily understand the instructions they gave me. I am very pleased with their support.

App acts like a Beta version, Support is DAFT

I sent a receipt that a restaurant printed, reflecting what I had paid the restaurant. $30. I have never had any issues with this, no matter by what method I had gotten food from a restaurant. The app kicked back the receipt and said that the date was old. The date was from the previous day. I thought that this was weird, so I had sent it up to support. The thick-headed support person was hung up on the fact that there was a DoorDash logo on the receipt. Now, I know probably everyone reading this has ordered from DoorDash before. You get a receipt from them for the service actually sent to your email, but the restaurant always gives you a receipt for just what they were paid for your food. I have always turned in those receipts without issue and have gotten points. Well, this bonehead is insisting that it's a DoorDash receipt and that what I am showing includes the service. It's not a service receipt. It's what I paid for the food. The service receipt says $38. She won't even address the date issue, which is the actual problem. I explained it to her, and she's insisting that "doordash is a service." The receipt isn't for DoorDash! It just says DoorDash on it. The receipt is for a pizza restaurant. And what service? I got the pizza from a restaurant that doesn't normally have online ordering, so you enter it into their system and go get it. I DID NOT USE DOOR DASH, but they're telling me that I did because of a LOGO. I am uninstalling the app and encouraging others to do the same. You can barely get points off of it. I made like $60 off of Fetch Rewards using the same receipts, and I'd sayn 80% of the receipts that go to Receipt Hog won't even scan. They have the worst time connecting to your accounts. They make you jump through hoops just to set up your email to connect. It takes like an hour to finish trying to connect to anything, even with a 500mpbs download, and then it tells you that it can't connect. The only account it will talk to is Walmart. Any other app, you just put in your credentials for your email or any app, and it connects in seconds. I had this for quite a while, and the most I ever got back was $10. So, this incident was the last straw. Our relationship is over. You absolutely refuse to resolve my issue. You constantly tell me to uninstall and reinstall instead of just admitting that your app works like a Beta version. You also clearly need an American customer service team who understands the difference between a retail receipt and a DoorDash receipt. Not one time have I ever gotten an apology or a fix on your end. It's always supposed to be MY fault that your app sucks. I'm done.UPDATE: like I SAID it was NOT, I repeat,,NOT a Door Dash receipt. And guess what? You took every single one after that. Learn to read.

Not seeing the transaction date

Receipt Hog will say “missing transaction date” when it is very clear that there is a transaction date on the receipt. Also happening: it will say “receipt blurry.” I have other receipt apps that will take the receipt just fine, but Receipt Hog rejects it. Also, can you give us more that just a few coins on Hog Slots? It takes a long time to get to the highest level based on this!

Disappointing! The doin feature is a joke

Takes forever to rack up points!!! I utilize every opportunity including surveys. I had 25 spins today and only got 15 coins and that seems to be the norm. Very disappointing and those on here saying the scanner doesn’t work well is correct. Fetch is far beyond this company which as I said is disappointing!
