I was lucky enough to get Ennis as my sales representative. Ennis is very helpful and advises you on what you need based on your request. He does not pressure you into to any upgrades at all. He takes his job very seriously and does everything within his power to make you happy. I had a bit of any issue at the pick up location (manufacturer, not Southern Trailer Depot) and Ennis stepped up to assist and took responsibility even though he has nothing to do with the pick up process. World Class Dealer! After months of online research and comparison, I narrowed my purchase down to two dealers. I opted with Southern Trailer Depot because they had MUCH better reviews. I bought a 6x12 Rock Solid and I am not disappointed. The trailer is great. It's everything that I expected. I'm glad I decided to upgrade to .030 siding though, because you can definitely see the difference. If I had to do over again with a little more knowledge now, I would have upgraded to the HaulStar. Not because my trailer is not up to par, but because the added upgrades with the HaulStar package is well worth it and doesn't cost a whole lot more. If you're down to a couple or a few dealers, go with Southern Trailer Depot, they will treat you right. SIDE NOTE: You do not pick up the trailer from Southern Trailer Depot, they are merely a supplier (one reason why prices are low). You actually pick up your trailer from the manufacturer, who does not sell to the public. They only have one cashier and Mondays and Fridays are the busiest days, so plan accordingly.

From first phone call to inquire about a trailer to the actual picking up in Douglas Ga. There was good communication. The price was right,we still saved a lot of money compared to dealer price even with the drive time and expense. The only thing I would do differently is when we picked it up there was no inspection or orientation. Example when we got home there was a reject inspection sticker on trailer jack saying Missing sand foot! We could have caught that at the lot!

Very hard to beat the price and I'm very pleased with it to date... a few weeks in. I got a 20 footer to provide enclosed long term storage for a car, so for now I won't be hauling it anywhere. It has nice features commonly found in more expensive trailer.

I very rarely review companies, but these guys deserve the time to do so. I called and told the salesman what I was looking for, he had the exact trailer available and gave me a very fair price. Here’s what sold me though Mr Garrett McBride told me he could get me a better price on a trailer that met my criteria, but for a few hundred more, I could get a much nicer trailer. And he was right. Rock Solid trailers are well worth the price. I went directly to the factory and picked it up, no problem. I wish I could give Garrett 10 stars. Call the man.

3 stars is for not getting good customer service in a timely manner.. With us being online buyers from states away. We expected more. Asked for pictures many times of progress on trailer. Never received them as promised. Also too much chasing to ask questions and to get answers. In person or over the phone business should always be handled the same no matter what.. Over all on the Trailer aspect. We give Sothern Trailer Depot 5 Stars. The trailer was complete to our satisfaction as we requested in regards of everything we asked for and some. Garrett seemed very knowledgeable and never pushed us to purchase unnecessary items. He also gave us a GREAT deal and we're so thankful. I have and will continue to recommend your company. You definitely have better prices than we do here in Ohio. I will buy again in the future. Thanks again!

My sales rep Ennis was terrific. The trailer was a little disappointing. It appeared that they rushed the assembly and did not cross the "T"s and dot the "I"s. One of the recessed D-Rings was not recessed like the others. It turned out that there was still a hunk of the floor wood in the hole which I needed to chisel out to have the D-Ring sit down like the rest. I had to repaint the top of the ramp door because it was wet when they lowered it in the yard and the paint was completely messed up. All in all the trailer was a great purchase and we look forward to many years of use.

I will never purchase anything from this company again. They gave me the red carpet treatment to get paid. Then three months later a damage incorrect trailer delivered (10-15 day build, the factory was closed for 2 weeks, you do the math). They still have not corrected any of the issues. If they offer to deliver the trailer and it is damage, be ready to pay for the repairs yourself. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company in good faith. Do not trust anything "Jerry" the salesman tells you. There is not enough room to explain all the issues. I have them all documented and screen shots of the lies. If you want Rock Cargo find another dealer. Rock will help on the issues they can (Manufacturer direct). But Southern Trailer Depot is a waste of your time to deal with. I don't ever make reviews. But I don't want to see others go through what I have. Right now my trailer is stuck on my RV, because if a jack delivered damage and they have not corrected the issue. It will be repaired at my expense today. Almost two weeks after delivery.
First of all we want to say thank you for your trust in us to provide you with great service and a great trailer. We certainly apologize that you received was anything short of that. Several units were delayed as a result of the pandemic and we are sorry for that. Not only did the manufacturer shut down, but also several part distributors shut down as well. This caused a ripple effect across the board that delayed thousands of units just like yours. A significant discount was accepted by you along with half priced delivery to your door for your trouble. Then, your jack was damaged during the delivery by one of the best drivers in the business. He immediately called us to make us aware of the problem and we immediately requested a replacement jack be dropped shipped to you ASAP. Any other time you would have had it within the next two days. During these times some things have been delayed and out of our control. It wasn't because someone dragged their feet or didn't do what they said they were going to do. It was simply because there were delays in the supply chain. We make our share of mistakes and we also do all that we can to make every single on of them as right as we can. We'll own the whole situation and do everything possible to do a better job in the future. Please accept our apology and know that we would never want you to be unhappy with us or the product you purchased. If there is anything we can do for you please let us know.
