Would give a ZERO, but not an option.
Website took payment. Received unlock code that doesn't work. No way to contact Customer Support...email is INVALID, website's AI chat goes straight to " having technical difficulties, check back later" despite repeated attempts.
No contact us option. Company is a scam.

Well, I thought the 4 star reviews will boost my confidence to the try a sim unlock with them but rather opted for iPhone Carrier & Lock Check of $3.47 first. Till today, order has not been processed, emailed them and they never reply. To you the general public beware. No where available to request for refund. Good business practice
My daughter had a Samsung Galaxy that she said was locked. I went to UnlockRiver and paid them to unlock it. An hour later, I found out that the phone was already unlocked. I emailed them explaining my situation and asked if they could give me a refund as it had only been an hour since my order. That day they refunded the amount minus $22 for administrative fees. They didn’t need to do that as their refund policy is quite clear. I told them “thank you” and that I’d be writing a stellar review. So here it is.

I am highly disappointed with the service provided for my Samsung S26Ultra. After waiting 10 days, I was sent an unlock code that did not work.
I have recorded a full screen-capture video proving:
Device Identity: Confirmed the IMEI and Serial Number on camera.
Carrier Lock: Demonstrated through the "Network lock status" in settings that the device is still restricted.
eSIM Failure: Showed the specific error message: "Your phone is locked to a different service provider" when trying to activate a new line.
Despite this undeniable proof, the support team (specifically Danilesa) closed my ticket (#TK869539) without a refund or a working solution. Shortly after,.Sending incorrect codes is not just a failure of service—it's a risk to the hardware itself. If you cannot unlock a specific model, do not take the customer's money and provide "placeholder" codes that could brick their phone.

SCAM SITE.. Paid "UnlockRiver" $30 & received a "failed" unlock code after following their instructions meticulously. I also included PUK code after 1st failed try. Tried contacting the help center via Email with no success. Received another Email telling me the Email address does not exist. Difficulty navigating convoluted app. My order History details have now been conveniently deleted by them so nothing can be traced or accessed. The positive reviews on this (Trust Pilot) site are fake. The Web site looks professional including their app but it's one big Scam.. Never again!

I had a great experience with UnlockRiver. They are 100% genuine and unlocked my device within 24 hours. I was very skeptical before placing the order, but after doing my research and reading other reviews, I decided to take a chance—and I’m glad I did.

So we had an iphone 16 pro max that was bought from usa which was esim locked by carriers. we found out about this 3rd party service provider and paid the 110$ usd to get access any local sim and esims guess what happend, it acctualy worked and we got the mail saying our phone is ready to use for any global sim in less than 24 hours. Now we have submitted another one for 17 pro max. I am not sure if it is right to say something bad or even positive for these comments, but what can i say is that i have tried once for this service and it actually worked. Recommendend service just double check that ur device is eligible by carriers
