I absolutely love my new letter jacket! The quality and materials used to create my jacket are excellent. I was able to use their AI generator to create a custom patch, which turned out great. I worked with Luke Staben, Donn, and Hannah from their customer satisfaction team. They were not only responsive, but also very helpful with my questions throughout the entire process. I wore my jacket at the Navy lacrosse game and got a ton of compliments. People immediately asked where I got my jacket from. Several of my classmates plan to order similar jackets as well. The fabrics were nice but the patches and below standard. I was excited waiting on delivery but very disappointed in finished product. It now just sits in the closet.

When custom artwork is uploaded—especially if the image quality is low, highly detailed, hand-drawn in appearance, or includes gradients in smaller patch areas—the final result can vary depending on the decoration method selected. At Varsity Base, we offer several different patch and decoration options depending on the type of artwork and desired finish, including embroidery, chenille (for larger patch designs), and digitally printed patches for highly detailed or photo-style artwork. In this case, embroidery was selected, which can be more challenging for smaller patches or artwork with fine detail and gradient-style elements. Because we did not receive any follow-up questions or requests to review alternative patch methods before production, we proceeded based on the selected customization choices and produced the patches to the best of our ability using the chosen method. I really liked how easy it was to design my jacket on the website, and the final product looked very close to the sample I created online. The listing mentioned embroidery, and it was done, but there were some differences in how it was applied. One area had direct embroidery on the sleeve, another appeared to be embroidery on a patch, and the back included chenille. The techniques weren’t completely consistent across the jacket. Overall, the jacket still looked great, and the quality was good. I just wish the company communicated more clearly about the type of embroidery or patchwork used in each area.

The website was fairly easy to use in designing my own jacket. The wait time to get my jacket was reasonable and it matched what was told to me. I got email updates as to how my order was progressing. I do feel that the jacket could've come better packaged.
