We’ve been using YNAB for a year now and it’s been life-changing. We went from a messy expense lifestyle where we overpaid for things and didn’t know how much money we had, to accounting for every dollar, bill and expense while still being able to save for things. Game changer.

When I first started using YNAB, I thought I was just looking for a better way to manage my money. What I didn't expect was how much clarity and confidence it would give me about my financial future. As I tracked my spending and priorities throughout my first year with YNAB, I came to an important realization: my current income wasn't going to support the life I wanted to build. YNAB helped me see that reality clearly, and it gave me the motivation to take action. I applied for a new job, landed it, and six months into that role, I'm preparing to close on my very first house next week. Buying a home felt like a distant dream before. YNAB changed my life for the better
YNAB changed my life for the better. I have saved so much money and paid off so much debt since signing up, but most importantly it changed my outlook on money and helped me curb my spending habits. I am not a big fan of the recent app updates - I dislike having to click so many buttons to approve or clear transactions, so I knocked a star off because the recent changes have been very annoying, but I am still a faithful YNAB user and can’t function without it it! It is well worth the annual fee, in my opinion. It pays for itself many times over.

Such a great app and method that works with the way my mind thinks. I love that you can try it free for 31 days before committing to it. I've been a YNABer for over a year now and it has completely improved my relationship with money. 10 out of 10 recommend trying it out and see if the method works for you.
I love YNAB because it’s not cookie cutter…
I love YNAB because I can customize it to be what I want. YNAB isn’t like so many other budgeting programs I have tried where I have to do it “their” way. Plus, YNAB’s customer service and support is great. They have seminars that are very helpful along with the options to chat or call and speak to a real live person. YNAB has made it so I actually look forward to managing my money and staying organized.

YNAB is hands down the best budget software I've ever come across online. It takes a bit to learn if you are unfamiliar with zero-based budgeting but, once you have the hang of it, you will never want to use anything else!! Thank you YNAB for putting the effort in to make this a really, really great program!!

Using ynab had helped me to feel more confident financially. There have bedn a few issues with bznk connections and ynab staff have bern very helpful and responsive.

YNAB experience
The whole YNAB thinking pattern about money and how they have been integrating it with the app and web app is amazing, it really makes you think about money a different way. But putting that aside, I would really appreciate more homogeneous support for android, I feel that the features on Android are falling behind apple iphone. The experience in general feels completely different, and that makes me feel like we are put aside. Another thing I would like to mention is that even though YNAB is mainly for US in mind, is being offered in international app stores such as Japan (my case) it would be amazing that they offer a regional currency payment plan, that would make the budget setting more predictable. And finally retuning to the main topic, this suggestions are minimum things compared to the actual beneficial impact YNAB has created with my budget planning, I personally thanks the team and I wish they keep doing an amazing job.

Love the flexibility for my flexible income!
This is the first budgeting app I've used and I love how flexible the categories and amounts are! I have a flexible income and it's always been tough for me to figure out how to divvy up things ahead of time b/c I don't know what my income is actually going to be until after I've earned it. YNAB's flexibility makes it easy for me to shore up money in one category, but easily pull from it for unexpected expenses if I need to. This is my favorite part. I also love the cute "Heard It From Hannah" playlist on youtube and all the set-up videos designed to help people use it as effectively as possible. The one criticism I'd have is that it's a steep learning curve to start. But it's been well worth it for me!

Very reliable app
It's a bit complicated to get a grasp but once it's running , it's a very reliable app I can trust my money will be there for when I need, even if it's something I'm planning to buy 5 years ahead
