We used Kith and Kin to create a custom book of 60 stories for a milestone 60th birthday, and the whole experience exceeded expectations. The automated reminders made it easy to stay on track and gather everyone’s contributions without constant follow-up. Whenever I had a question or needed help, the Kith and Kin team was incredibly responsive and helpful. The final product turned out beautifully — it’s become a cherished keepsake that stays out on our coffee table. Highly recommend Kith and Kin for anyone putting together a meaningful gift like this.

Very disappointed on how the book was…
Very disappointed on how the book was shipped to me. It was shipped in a small sleeve, like box that the book slid into. By being shipped in such a small package the books corners and front cover are dented. This is a 50th birthday gift for my husband and after reading reviews I was hoping for better. The book was $200 and it came looking used. Very disappointing. After the company saw my review. They reached out to me the next day and sent me out a new book that was not damaged! The book was beautiful. My issue was with how it got shipped to me. Excited to receive the new book in the mail

The book is beautiful
After this review Brittany reached out about my damaged book and they issued a replacement. We were so impressed with this company working hard to replace the damaged book and the retiree loved it! Would order again in the future. Original review: The book is beautiful, unfortunately the corner got banged in shipping. While it isn't super noticeable it would have been nice to receive it without any damage. You can see the box got rammed into something in shipping and it squashed the corner. Better shipping materials should be used.

Coming from a family with less-than-adequate computer skills, I was truly amazed at how simple it was to put the book together! The staff at Kith and Kin were incredibly helpful and understanding, and they assisted other family members who had very little access to computers. Thank you Brittany and staff!

Incredible product

The customer service was EXCELLENT! Brittany was fantastic and helped with a couple of things that I was struggling with during the process. It'd be great if there was a way to rotate photos on the page a little easier.

The book turned out really well but it was pricey. And hard to format the cover. It took awhile to load and they did not send reminder emails to people who signed up.

For a bit of added context: longer books can sometimes take more time to load, and pricing scales with page count. But we’re proud that, on a per-page basis, our books are priced at or below other major photo book printers. Just to clarify one point as well: we do automatically send up to three reminder emails to contributors who register but haven’t yet completed their submission. Thanks again for choosing us and for taking the time to share your experience!
