What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Consumers genuinely love the innovative three-dimensional printing design, frequently mentioning that the sneakers are exceptionally comfortable, wonderfully soft, and remarkably lightweight on feet during daily wear. Many buyers also appreciate the intuitive online customization process and express great excitement about receiving unique products that fit wonderfully well. However, some customers also noted that shipping and delivery times were quite long, particularly for international orders and special raffle drops. A few other people also felt that shoe sizing can be unpredictable, occasionally leading to items feeling too tight or unexpectedly large.

I bought a gadget on Zellerfeld, and it was a total letdown. The product arrived broken, and the customer service was unhelpful. Wasted my money. Wouldn’t trust them again. I was fortunate enough to win one of…

I was fortunate enough to win one of their drawings for a pair of Nike shoes they made. It was eventually marked as shipped, but I never received them. At first they acknowledged that the shoes were missing and claimed they would create a new pair. I knew that was impossible. They finally admitted they could not and refunded the money

Dear Marc, Thank you for leaving your review. I completely understand how frustrating this situation is, especially when it comes to a drawing win. Because limited edition drops are strictly capped in production, we unfortunately cannot print or provide additional replacement pairs if a package gets lost in transit. While we always aim to find a solution, issuing a full refund is our standard policy when a limited item goes missing. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to offer you a smoother experience in the future. Best regards from the farm Team Zellerfeld

The technology is unreal and it's…

Added a star back cause they're redoing my pair of shoes for free AND refunded me part of the original price. Sweet :) The technology is unreal and it's amazing how far they've come but their website makes it too easy to mess up your own order without realizing it. They love bragging about not needing shoe size but they're really adamant about you telling them your shoe size. What do they need it for? Can't tell. My feet are super wide so I used to go a couple sizes up but Zellerfeld just interpreted that as "this guy wants his shoes to be way too long, got it" so my first pair was super loose which was nice cause all my shoes before that were too tight but it's technically wrong. Now they've added "fit profiles" where you can choose your shoes to be tight, normal or loose which is somehow worse because it just doesn't tell you what it means for fitting. I've learned from my past mistakes so for my second order I put the size that corresponds to the length of my foot instead of what I usually wear and this time the length is pretty much perfect. Just the length. I selected the "normal" fit which turns out actually means "too tight so it hurts to wear oops lmao 189$ for a pair btw". Getting your fit right if you have non-average foot proportions is an absolute gamble because they just refuse to tell you anything in regards to measurements. Like maybe give me a slider from like -2mm off the foot scan measurements for tight to +20mm on top of the foot scan measurements for loose instead of just giving me three static choices that risk just not working. Give me statistics and numbers instead of purchase decisions based on unknowable factors. You made a shoe that's infinitely customizable and give it the most limited customization options possible. WHY? Also the new website layout sucks cause it makes looking for lesser known shoes literally impossible. There is no longer a page where you can just see all released designs after the website redesign cause they only show you 20 designs at a time with no way to look for more in any given (arbitrarily decided) category. Fix your website, the product will thank you for it.

The material Personally, I think it's really great 👍

The material was softer than I expected, and personally, I found them very comfortable – absolutely fantastic! However, because the material isn't very slippery, putting them on and taking them off can be a little difficult at times. If that could be improved, I think they would be truly amazing shoes!

Didn't expect to like 3d printed shoes this much

Saw an ad and figured it was gimmicky but I was curious enough to try one pair. Weirdest unboxing I've had in a while, they kind of smell like a 3d printer lol but that fades fast. Fit is snug at first then loosens up right where your foot actually needs it, not like regular break-in pain. They print each pair on demand so it took a little longer than a normal sneaker order, but they sent me updates the whole time so I always knew where things stood. Wore them out and two different people stopped me to ask what they were. Weird flex but I'll take it.

I definitely shouldn’t have ordered…

I should’ve known better about ordering shoes online. They have this 3D scan thingy to measure your feet, but it just didn’t seem to work right. Every time I scanned, the results were different. My mistake for going for it. I spent AUD$446 on Mars Mellow, and it showed up on my doorstep without a doorbell or signature. What if someone had taken it? The shoe was a bit tight, with no room for my big toe to move. So bummed out. I can’t return it because they don’t have a return policy. What a waste of money. Also, I saw a video on Zellerfeld shoes by Elliot Page on YouTube, where someone wore your brand new shoe to test it out for the day. That’s pretty gross.
