Charged for a voided label and extremely poor support experience
I had an extremely frustrating experience with ShipStation. I purchased a shipping label, then voided and canceled it the same day before the package was ever shipped or scanned by UPS. Despite this, I was still charged for the label 5x of its worth!!!
To make things worse, ShipStation claimed the package had a higher weight than what it actually was. The package was never even scanned by UPS, so I have no idea how they determined a weight of 650g when the actual package was around 200g.
I am currently speaking with support, and the experience has been very disappointing. The representative was not helpful and simply told me they would “adjust” the charge without properly explaining how this happened or taking responsibility.
Be very careful using this platform. Getting charged for a canceled label that was never used is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend looking at other shipping solutions before trusting ShipStation with your money.

I’ve already deleted 10 one-star reviews hoping this company would redeem themselves — maybe show the slightest sign of professionalism. But after everything that’s happened, I’m convinced: CJ Dropshipping is the single worst, most incompetent, dishonest, and disastrously disorganized company I have ever worked with.
If you value your money, your time, your sanity — and most importantly, your customers — you will RUN FAR AWAY from this platform.
Let me give you a little taste of what it’s like to work with them:
$10,000 in orders that went absolutely nowhere.
I’ve waited since May 28 for orders that still haven’t shipped. We’re talking well over a month, with not even the courtesy of a realistic update. This company will quite literally take your money, promise the world, and then vanish into thin air.
They pretend products are in stock that aren’t.
Their site will show stock. You’ll place orders. They’ll take your money. Then only later — after your customers are already furious — will they casually tell you it’s out of stock. Their entire inventory system is an outright joke. They’ll even tell you “it’s okay to keep selling,” while they secretly know they have nothing to ship.
Agents like Elem? Completely vanished.
They were once quick to promise updates, investigations, solutions — then they stop replying altogether. The company will close your tickets with no resolution, no apology, no explanation. Imagine trying to grow your brand with thousands of dollars locked up, customers waiting, and your supplier simply ignoring you.
Chaotic “support” that leads absolutely nowhere.
Their live chat is either painfully slow or unresponsive. They’ll copy-paste generic nonsense about “checking with the warehouse” for days, weeks, then just stop talking to you. No accountability. No tracking down orders. No ownership.
Blatant deception.
They flood this platform with suspicious positive reviews on the SAME DAY when they get negative ones, desperately trying to drown out honest voices. I’ve seen it repeatedly — whenever I post a bad review, magically 10 glowing 5-star reviews pop up within hours. It’s laughably transparent.
They will completely destroy your business reputation.
Because of CJ, I’ve had to send countless apologies to customers, refund orders, and take hits on my brand credibility. My hard-earned customers think I’m running some backyard scam — all thanks to the negligence and empty promises from CJ Dropshipping.
I truly wish there was an option for zero stars — even negative stars.
This is not just a bad supplier. This is a black hole that will suck your time, money, trust, and peace of mind, leaving you with furious customers and a collapsing business.
I don’t even want to imagine how many other small brands like mine have been torched because of these people.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
If you care at all about your brand, your mental health, or your wallet — find literally ANY other supplier. I’ve never felt so cheated, lied to, and abandoned by a company that claims to “support e-commerce businesses.”
I’ll keep speaking up. I’ll keep warning people. Because no one deserves to watch their brand dreams implode the way CJ Dropshipping made mine.
