Very costly and no work effort from their team
I hired Optima for a back taxes issue in 2023 - paid 300 for an "investigation" (of what?)and 20k for "comprehensive services". They were super slow and did not even conduct basic measures to protect us from pending IRS action. I wrote a one-star review in May 2026 which doesn't seem to be here- Optima replied the same way as they do to all of these - "we hear you", "we strive for...", even saying they would have someone review my case. No response and they plan to keep my 20k until I sue them or write the AG, which is my next step. Had to hire someone else and it got resolved at a fraction of their price, and quickly.

Beware of temporary duplicate charges to your form of payment
I placed my first order for tools on their site and waiting for the merchandise. The broad selection of items was impressive. The downside is they charge you twice - for the initial order, and then a duplicate charge for parts of the order. I called customer service and they said it was because parts of the order are sourced from different places. The original charge will "fall off" and then just the partial charges will remain - adding up to your original order correctly, but tying up your credit line for double the correct amount in the meantime (10 days). It's an inefficient system that penalizes the customer and for that reason I would not place an order here again.
