AI generated

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Consumers frequently mention that packages arrive extremely quickly, often within a couple of days, and always feature very competitive prices alongside helpful discounts. People truly love the broad selection of specialized items and find the online store very simple to navigate for placing daily purchases without any hassle. However, some people mentioned receiving incorrect quantities or completely wrong products compared to what was clearly displayed on their purchase receipts. A few reviewers also experienced unexpected billing mistakes, duplicate charges, and rather frustrating delays when attempting to process returns and resolve delivery problems.

What people say

No packaging for a sensitive electronic tool

I ordered a Triplett moisture meter through Zoro's ebay site, a mission-critial instrument for me as I attempt to evaluate flood damage to my hardwood floors and formulate a remediation strategy. I did not want to buy one of the cheapies available in big-box stores. It is a sensitive electronic instrument, not an indestructible steel tool. I watched Fedex tracking and waited for 6 agonizing days while the device was transited from Illinois to California It arrived in a huge box c. 13x10x10 inches with NO packaging, so it was free to rattle and bang and bounce during its long arduous journey through state after state after state. The meter itself was packaged in paper-thin cardboard by the manufacturer which cannot itself provide any cushioning, whose length was c. 1.5" less than the width of the shipping box, so a wad of newsprint shoved into that space could have secured it, but no. This was my first and last order from Zoro tools.

Missing $879 phone led to confusing and inconsistent support

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S25 from Zoro for $879.79, but the package was marked delivered even though I never received it. I reported the problem and was initially told an investigation would take up to five business days. Zoro later sent a proof-of-delivery document, but it did not include a delivery photograph showing where the phone was actually left. After further contact, Zoro issued return authorization RA2197744 and stated that a refund would be processed within 10 business days. The confusing part is that I never received the phone, so there is nothing for me to return. I asked Zoro to confirm in writing that no physical return was required and that the full refund would still be issued. Instead of clearly answering, customer service directed me to another department. This process has involved several case numbers, repeated follow-ups, and inconsistent communication. For an order of this value, Zoro should provide clearer answers, better delivery safeguards, and one point of contact who can resolve the issue.

Chute Lube bottle not taped or sealed

This is the first bottle I received of Chute Lube that wasn't taped up. The bottle was also partially open. I didn't have to see where the package came from because I could smell it before I opened the package. It did have a small amount of leakage inside the package. So yes, I'm kind of disappointed on this shipment. I just took in my last bottle of chute lube to my work, and I had to cut the tape off the neck very carefully. But on this bottle, I don't have to cut any tape off it.

Financial fraud plain and simple.

So I needed (4) of a specific exit light for a project. I emailed their sales team and asked if they were available. They said yes. I ordered the (4) lights online and paid $800 for them. Got confirmation that they were ordered and would be delivered within 7 days. Two hours later I get an email that they were not in stock and my order was canceled. I called them. They said the third party vendor it turns out did not have them. I asked them to check the vendor for stock of an alternate fixture that was nearly identical to the first fixture. He did and confirmed that they had those four fixtures in stock. I ordered them and paid another $700. That was a Friday afternoon and my delivery of those fixtures was critical to my project. The following Monday afternoon, I get another email. My order was canceled again, and the third party vendor did not have those fixtures either. I called the sales team again. They apologized and said my credit card would be reimbursed within the next TEN DAYS. So they use my $1500 for the next ten days and I get zilch, and three days of run around. In my book that is fraud. #1 you can reimburse a credit card in max three days, one day if they hadn't batched the transactions yet. I'm wondering how many other people have they done this to, and to what dollar amount. If you're going to be in this business of being a go between supplier with NO ACTUAL inventory in your warehouses, then you better have a fool proof method of checking your suppliers stock BEFORE you make any sales!! There should be a financial penalty for actually taking the customers money and encumbering their credit, when you actually DO NOT HAVE that item available to you to actually sell!!

Never any damage always on time ***…

Everytime I order something from Zoro it arrives in mint condition, well packaged, not even the slightest scuff. Amazon had many complaints there's arrived all banged up from rough handling. Register at Zoro and shipping drops to 5$ over any $50+ purchase. Now I wouldnt Zoros pitch to new customers if it wasn't true and a benefit I've used several times. Also when they say your item will arrive, it arrives. There are no oops a slight delay has occurred like woth Amazon & Home Depot & others. I do most of my shopping and ordering online, years of experience. So I put just as much effort into complaining about things that are wrong as I do in this instance a Company that excells in Customer Service. Kevin Weaver US Army Veteran Retired 70

I ordered an HDPE 2' x 4' sheet

I ordered an HDPE 2' x 4' sheet. It was shipped to me without any packaging or wrapping. It was a 2x4 HDPE sheet in its raw state with shipping labels stuck to it. The item arrived dirty, damaged with gouges, and completely scuffed on both sides. Totally inexcusable and unacceptable.
