Disappointed by the poor customer service
The item I wished to purchase was priced at £24.50, just 50p below the free delivery threshold of £25.00. To avoid the disproportionate £4.99 delivery charge, I even offered to pay £25.00 (or £26.00) for the item so that the order would qualify for free delivery. This simple, customer-focused solution was refused, which I found both disappointing and unnecessarily inflexible. The £4.99 delivery charge is also significantly higher than that of many other retailers, including John Lewis and Amazon, making Speedo's delivery policy appear poor value and out of step with current customer expectations. Rather than encouraging purchases, it risks driving customers elsewhere. As a result of this experience, I chose not to complete my purchase. I was genuinely disappointed by the lack of flexibility and the overall standard of customer service I received
