Learned something about RN and railroad strikes
Whereas I did get tickets easily and did get a refund promptly I now see two issues: 1- prices are exorbitant 2- if a train is cancelled bc of a strike (not unusual in Spain), Rail Ninja will cancel and refund ticket HOWEVER is you book directly with Rail (RENFE) they put you on next available train autoMatically. A very big convenience which wd did not get and the upshot was a terrible experience trying to get to our destination later after the strike.
