You get what you pay for
Agoda often has the cheapest hotel / flight prices out of any platform which is a big plus. For example. the same hotel would be marked down anywhere from 5-20% from similar booking sites in my experience. But if you have any issues with the booking it can be difficult to fix the issue as you are not making the booking with the company directly, rather through Agoda who acts as a third party. That's a risk I'm willing to take most of the time. Their website and app are also quite buggy, for example I couldn't deposit cash back I had earned for many attempts, and I am still not able to add my phone number to my account, because it shows an error message. Still would recommend Agoda but with some minor tweaks it would earn 5 stars.
