This company has became a joke
This company has became a joke. My boxes are supposed to be delivered on Wednesdays, Tuesday I get an email saying it's coming Thursday. Received the box, one recipe was missing three ingredients. I contacted customer service, was offered a $12 credit first. I told them I wanted a refund, not a credit, because I had cancelled my subscription. Received an email back, explaining two of the three ingredients were left out do to a "supplier issue", not even acknowledging the third ingredient. This person offered me a $9 credit. Again I replied, told them I didn't want a credit but a refund. Received an email this morning offering me a $5 credit to be used toward a future box. What a joke. Two of six meals not usable unless I go buy missing ingredients and they want to give me $5. I guess my next step is to dispute the charge. It doesn't look like a refund will be coming from Marley Spoon.

Loyalty department is a scam
Not sure where the five star reviews come from for this company. If you search by most recent reviews, you'll see the majority of them are one star, which is one more than they deserve. My problems started when my system kept giving me false alarms and error codes and I notified Brinks that I wanted to cancel. As others have said good luck with that, they just keep charging. I talked to their "loyalty department" in October of last year. They informed me I hadn't followed the correct process to cancel, but agreed to write off 60% of the past due if I paid 40%. I paid that day, they never did issue a credit. I also agreed to keep the service and add a maintenance plan in return for getting new equipment sent to me. They never sent new equipment but started charging the new rate. Any attempts to resolve the issues were simply met with "you need to contact the loyalty department." They were calling three times a day for money despite not keeping any promises, and recently closed the account and sent it to collections. Brinks will never see a dime. Complete scam of a company who directs all issues to a department whose only mission is to tell you whatever they need to tell you in order to get you to extend your contract. Avoid Brinks Home.

Just another refund
Totally agree with Amy K and others here about this company not caring. They think simply refunding a box that shows up late and can't be used is enough. In reality it messes up an entire week of planned meals for those that live alone and plan their shopping around meal delivery services. Notice all the negative reviews get the same cookie cutter copy and paste responses. My box that was supposed to arrive on Tuesday 6/3 is scheduled to arrive here on Saturday. It will be going straight to the dumpster. I'm done screwing with Blue Apron.
UPDATE to one star: Notice the reply is just a copied reply, same wording as the review before mine. My box that was supposed to arrive Tuesday showed up today, about an hour after reading an email from Blue Apron that at least one if not two of my meals needed to be discarded due to plastic in the beef. If my product would have arrived on time, this notice would have been too late. You can't even make this stuff up.
