even if you cancel before the 14 day you may still get charged for a year by this company. Beware
I was trying to open a pdf file for a government application I needed. I started the free 14 day trial because I had no other choice. I printed what I needed and cancelled the account. 2 months later I get a charge for 104.64. My bank flagged it as fraud and I got a text message asking me to verify the charge, I replied no approved and my card was closed down. I still ended up with the charge and I'm still in the dispute process to get my money back. A 14 day trial that was canceled does not mean you can charge me 2 months later and lock me into a year subscription. I want a full refund.

Not customer focused at all, only worried about their bottom line.
I had just applied for my LLC and was trying to get everything for my business established and wanted to be sure my business name was available. I used Wix because they had good reviews. I paid out way to much money which is my fault but once I realized what I had done I reached out to Wix asking them to pause my account or prorate it and get a partial refund. I understood I had already had the services for 4 months, but I never set up my website. I also understand contracts which is why I asked for my account to just be paused until I was ready to actually get it set up. It would have been 8 months still unused. Instead, all I get is out subscriptions don't allow for a pause, and we don't offer any refunds. I'm still locked in with the other services I have with them, so it's not like they are losing me as a customer but all they care about is the money. No willingness to work with me, just shi* out of luck and oh well. I've lost over 500.00 on a website that I didn't actually need yet. When establishing a new company you have a lot of issues coming at you all at once. Companies like Wix take advantage of that. I can go on most accounts and pause a subsection for a time without issue because the company knows I'll be coming back. I told Wix I would be eventually needed the account and that I still had two other paid accounts with them, there was no need for me to completely stop using their services. Once my year is up, I'm out. Wix will not get another dollar from me. GoDaddy it is!
