Tera,
We understand how frustrating it is to be without your vehicle and to feel like you're not getting clear answers during the claims process.
After reviewing your concerns, we were able to locate the claim in question and can confirm that repairs have now been authorized. Coverage was approved for the wheel bearings, control arm replacement, output shaft seal, and oil pan gasket, with an authorized claim amount of $2,295.76 after your deductible.
At times, additional information is required from the repair facility to properly diagnose the cause of failure and ensure the correct coverage is applied under the terms of the vehicle service contract. We understand that these requests and the associated delays can be frustrating, and we also apologize if our communication did not meet your expectations throughout the process.
If you have any remaining questions regarding your claim, please contact our team at (800) 662-5519. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.

Judith,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating unexpected repair expenses can be, and are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced.
Regarding your first claim, our records show that the repair facility diagnosed the EVAP system concerns as a failed fuel tank pressure sensor and purge valve. Because your A+ Enhanced service contract provides coverage for specifically listed components, these parts are not included in the coverage selected and were therefore not eligible for benefits under the terms of the contract. However, during that same repair visit, Alpha Warranty Services did approve coverage for a radiator replacement, contributing $1,176.37 toward the repair.
For your second claim, the repair facility reported that the A/C compressor and clutch assembly had sustained damage after operating without refrigerant in the system, causing the compressor to overheat. Based on the findings provided by the repair facility, the claim fell under the contract exclusion for damage resulting from overheating or improper fluid levels and was therefore not eligible for coverage.
We recognize that claim decisions can be disappointing, particularly when significant repairs are involved. While we understand that you may disagree with the outcome, all claims are reviewed according to the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined in the service contract. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.
Sincerely,
Alpha Warranty Services
Doug,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it can be when a repair claim is not approved, especially after investing in a service contract for added peace of mind.
We reviewed your claim in detail. The initial repair request was submitted for a vacuum pump failure. Under your service contract, the vacuum pump is not listed as a covered component, and therefore that portion of the claim was not eligible for coverage.
During the repair process, the facility later identified additional concerns, including damage to the valve cover and the exhaust camshaft. These components were reviewed by our claims team along with supporting photos and documentation provided by your repair facility.
Based on the findings, the valve cover damage was determined to be secondary to the non-covered vacuum pump failure, and the camshaft issue was found to be linked to the same root cause. Per the terms of your contract, damage resulting from or caused by a non-covered component is also not eligible for coverage.
There was also a period where we were awaiting additional inspection photos and documentation from the repair facility so the adjuster could complete a full review. Once all information was received and evaluated, the determination was made in accordance with the contract terms.
We understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for. Your feedback is appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continue working to improve communication and the claims experience. If you would like additional clarification, please contact us at 800-662-5519.

Hi Tyler,
We're sorry to hear that you feel this way and understand your frustration.
After reviewing your account, your most recent claim was submitted after the repair had already been completed. As part of our No Prior Authorization review process, we evaluated the repair invoice to determine whether any covered component failure was present. The documentation submitted reflected an air conditioning evacuation and recharge service only. Because this is considered a maintenance service rather than a repair of a failed covered component, the claim was not eligible for coverage under the terms of the contract.
We also noted that an evacuation and recharge service had previously been covered as part of another approved repair approximately one month earlier, which is why additional documentation would have been necessary to identify any new covered mechanical failure.
We understand claim outcomes can be disappointing, especially when unexpected repair expenses arise. However, coverage decisions are based on the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined in the vehicle service contract, not on an effort to avoid paying valid claims.
If you have questions about the claim determination or would like the matter reviewed further, please contact us at 800-662-5519 and we can further discuss the details with you.
Sincerely,
Alpha Warranty Services

Hi Kevin,
We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand how stressful it can be to experience a vehicle breakdown while away from home.
After reviewing your claim, we found that the denial was not based on the repair itself, but on the fact that the repair was completed before authorization was obtained. As outlined in the terms of the service contract, authorization must be secured prior to repairs being performed in order for a claim to be eligible for coverage.
The repair occurred during normal business hours when our claims department was available to assist with the authorization process. Based on the nature of the repair, this likely would have been a straightforward claim review had the required procedures been followed before the work was completed.
We understand that you made the decision to proceed with repairs due to your travel plans and circumstances at the time. However, once repairs are completed without prior authorization, the contract specifically excludes reimbursement for those repairs.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the roadside assistance experience and regret any confusion that may have occurred. Customer feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we take those concerns seriously.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we recognize that this outcome was disappointing, the claim decision was made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the service contract.

Jeremiah,
Thank you for taking the time to share this. We understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially when you expected clear coverage and timely follow-up.
Regarding your claim, the repair facility reported a significant leak from the front differential that resulted in the unit operating without sufficient fluid, which led to internal damage. Your service contract does cover many major components, but it is not a “bumper-to-bumper” warranty. As outlined in the contract, repairs required due to an improper quantity of fluids are not covered, regardless of the cause. Based on the findings provided at the time of inspection, this is why the claim was denied.
That said, your concerns about communication are understandable. A supervisor call was noted but not properly routed, and that delay should not have happened. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We have since had a senior team member connect with you directly to review the decision, explain the reasoning in detail, and go over next steps.
If your repair facility has additional information or believes there are details that were not fully considered, they are welcome to contact our claims team to speak directly with the adjuster. We are always open to reviewing new or clarifying information to ensure the decision is accurate.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to address the situation.
Sincerely,
Alpha Warranty Services
