Good morning! Please consider this message a "Commendation" for Baselane's representative, Salwa Wahidi. As a mid-term property owner who has worked with Furnished Finder and Key Check for the past year, I recently had the distinct pleasure of working with Ms. Wahidi as I explored, and subsequently implemented with Ms. Wahidi's direct assistance, my first Baselane midterm lease payment process. Please note, I've been using Stripe for this purpose for the past year. I will further note, I have nothing negative to report regarding my relationship with Stripe and definitely appreciate the security their system provides. However, with my most recent tenant leaving my property in late June and a prospective tenant arriving in early August, I had to opportunity to try the Baselane financial system without interrupting a tenant's payment process. Because Baselane is a new system for me, and with a limited amount of time to get lease agreement and payment process in place, I reached out to Baseline for direct assistance. This is how I met Ms. Wahidi. From the beginning of this relationship, I found Ms. Wahidi to be knowledgeable, courteous and extremely patient. Due to several errors I created (what I refer to as (Pilot Errors") in trying to set up the system on my own, Ms. Wahidi's patience is something I truly appreciated. The first error I created was the fact I had inadvertently duplicated and entered my financial institution's information into the system and this interfered with being able to verify me in the system. I will note, for Baselane's possible training purposes, when entering my financial institution's information, I didn't receive confirmation that it was in the system. Therefore, I reentered it using Plaid. Resolving this first issue is where I gained additional respect for Ms. Wahidi. She was initially not able to resolve the duplication on her end and we were not able to get a verification code and were therefore, stalled and frozen in the system. However she promptly escalated the issue and told me she would call me back when the issue was resolved. In doing so she also provided me "Certainty" by letting me know the time frame within which she would call me back, which was to be later that day or early the next, in other words, within 24 hours...totally resonable. And, she followed-up exactly as she said she would...issue resolved!! The next issue was with the verification of my account. Again, due to Pilot Error on my part given my initial entering of information into the Baselane system. Here, Ms. Wahidi actually walked me through the entire process, provided me the link, which I will note took me to Stripe, which I was very pleased to see Baselane using and staying on the phone with me while I went completely through the process...again, issue solved! Finally, Ms. Wahidi, assisted me in finalizing the payment setup for my prospective tenant and assisting me align the elements of my mid-term lease with the Baselane financial system. Finally, I will note, through all of this, Ms. Wahidi remained calm, cool, collected and...extremely patient with me, your newest client. Thank you, Salwa! Best Regards, Richard Erhard
