Decent Products, but feels like there's always a small catch

I fee like generally, Elegoo is very straightforward about their shipping and pricing while also usually providing ready to go out of the box products. My recent purchase of an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Combo came with a malfunctioning CANVAS AMS feeder where one of the ports simply wouldn't work. I would be fine with this if I had bought it refurbished, but this was straight out of the box. Tech support sent me information on how to disassemble and reseat the feeders, but that is something more for having had this unit for a multitude of prints and not straight from the factory. They are supposedly sending me a new unit.

The H1 HT is a great filament dryer

The H1 HT is a great filament dryer. It hits high temps at a low price, rotates filament while it does it, and allows for printing from the box. The package arrived well ahead of the projected delivery time, and I'm very impressed with their overall effort, well-researched defaults, and build quality.

Received a printer damaged in shipping…

Received a printer damaged in shipping and also with factory defects. Almost a month passed with no printer since purchase date. They refund me. They are very polite.

Fast shipping. Easy setup. Takes my plates I used with my failed Bambu Lab P2S Combo. Prints decent material. Ease of loading filiment.Doesn't leave much material in bottom of printer like my Bambu Lab P2S did.

I'm always happy with the products that…

I'm always happy with the products that I purchased from this company. The time from ordered to ship I feel like could be trimmed down a little bit. The supply/inventory is what really needs to be worked on though. When I log on to the website, specifically us.elegoo.com, I am shocked to see how many colors/types/patterns are just straight up, sold out. I suppose you could educate me here and say that I'm buying from a very small company, or something like that, that limits the amount of product that you're able to produce at any given time but I really doubt that's the case here. This issue arises in the different variations of colors that are actually available. I see all of these off-brand and even brand name filaments that have a significantly higher selection and I'm wondering why can't this company do the same. Overall I get this company because it seems to be the most reliable/predictable.

I ordered a wrong part for my Carbon…

I ordered a wrong part for my Carbon and when I realized it, I wrote in to have my ordered canceled. Couldn't be canceled. So I requested to return it and was met with poor customer service. How is it that I refused delivery of a package. Never opened or used and yet $40 of my money is stolen to stupid fees. I'll simply never order from the site again. If it's not on Amazon where I can safely return something without fees, I don't need it or I'll buy it from another company that doesn't charge fees of any kind for anything! Completely ridiculous! Edit** I'm leaving my original review to help other people not make the same mistake I did and have to deal with what I did. Customer support did reach to me and was kind enough to fix the issue.

Great filament at a great price. ELEGOO filament prints consistently, feeds smoothly, and produces excellent surface quality with minimal stringing. I’ve had great results across multiple printers and materials. Definitely one of my go-to filament brands and an easy recommendation.

Initial app issue resolved by ELEGOO update

*Update: issue now resolved* 11/08/26 ELEGOO responded to my review and released an updated version of the Matrix app. After installing version 1.2.4, the verification process worked and the app is now connecting properly. The initial experience was frustrating and took far longer than it should have, but I appreciate that ELEGOO acknowledged the problem, fixed it and followed up. I have updated my rating to reflect that the issue has now been resolved. Original review below: I was really happy with my ELEGOO printer. I bought and set it up for my son’s birthday, and everything worked brilliantly at first. The printer was straightforward to use, the results were excellent, and the mobile app made it easy to monitor prints remotely using the live camera. After only a couple of days, the app logged me out and stopped working. It then disappeared from the UK and EU App Stores without any warning or explanation. I managed to restore the app through my Apple purchase history, but it now requires a mobile number and rejects valid UK numbers. This leaves me unable to access the account or use the live monitoring feature that was available when I bought the printer. The printer itself is very good, but removing an important feature immediately after purchase is extremely frustrating. ELEGOO should explain what has happened, restore access for UK and European customers, and communicate properly with people who bought their printers expecting the advertised app features to work.
