If I could put zero stars I WOULD. I previously ordered a wig from them no issues but when I purchased a full costume I had more troubles than ever. The colors were all wrong and I had to wait for an extra month to receive my order because they failed to contact me about a holiday they had. Then I’m in a total argument with them right now for a refund as they don’t want to give me all my money back with millions of excuses. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO DESERVES IT.
Huge Letdown
I ordered two cosplays from EZCosplay, both back in September (one September 14th, the other September 19th.) I set the wear date pretty early, just because I wanted it as soon as possible (October 11 and October 18th) so I could make adjustments as needed and ensure that I had them in time for the actual convention. I didn't expect them to get here by my wear date, but I did expect that the company would email me and tell me it wouldn't be ready by then. They did not - good thing I didn't actually need the costume at that date! Anyway... the first costume I ordered just shipped yesterday (October 22) and should be here tomorrow. The other cosplay, however... I just received an email from EZCosplay TODAY saying they were sorry but due to the busy season I will have to wait until the end of November for my other costume. Now, had they sent this email back at the beginning of the month, I wouldn't be so upset - at least then I could have either started attempting to make the cosplay myself or looked elsewhere. But now I'm exactly a month out from my event and don't have the time to make it myself, and I haven't been able to find another place that sells the costume that would have it done in time. Very disappointing, especially since prior to the email I had been contacting the company to ask about the cosplay and rarely got any response other than "it's processing" and "thank you for your understanding." Suuuuuuuper helpful. All in all, unless I am blown away by the product I receive tomorrow, I won't be ordering from EZCosplay again. Poor customer service and no updates until it's too late. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Choose somewhere else. Ordered two costumes back on September 2 and was told it takes an average 10-15 days to make. Up until a few days ago they were still advertising on the website, "order now and receive before Halloween". Just received an email that they would not be able to complete my order until November!! Scam...

I wish I could give no stars to this unprofessional site. I ordered a custom made costume for my daughter for an event 2 months in advanced. The site says allow 3 to 4 weeks tailoring and 3 to 5 days delievery. 2 months later and even after the even the status on the items still said processing. I contacted them many times in between and they said they would rush the tailor. After finally sending a cancellation email. They had the nerve to send me an email back saying the item is too small to tailer and if I would like for them to still send the wigs and cancel the item only. Do not buy from this site use miccostumes.com instead.

Ordered Sept 9 didn’t get ANY response for weeks until I followed up in October. Was told it was being worked on. Webpage says take-15-20 days and as of October 5th still no response of order or shipping. I email several times asked for a refund and was told it was shipped (no tracking number provided) so I emailed again and then they finally gave me a tracking number/website in Chinese (October 11). I paid for express 2-4 day shipping BUT they sent it regular mail. As of October 13th it hasn’t even left China. The company said that DHL and FedEx “won’t deliver” (Which is a lie cause we regularly get mail from both companies and they have offices near me). I’ve asked for a refund in shipping and they haven’t responded. Buyer beware. I feel they are dishonest and they brush off customers cause they already got your money. (My order was almost $300). I need the costume for Halloween and I don’t think it’s going to get here in time as EMS China Mail is notorious for going by boat. Never again- don’t trust this company.

I agree that this site is scamming people. From it’s bogus rewards system, to the price, sizes & shipping times & refund process. I think some transparency from them would change my mind but right now the entire site is misleading, confusing & even contradicts itself. My experience in purchasing an outfit along with boots for it was gold even the communication with them for the outfit. But the size I received was larger than expected. As well as some accessories included with the outfit were not even sewn together as they should be. The only real positive from this is I was told my boots would have no heel & when they arrived they had one. So I’m not sure what is going here but it doesn’t smell good. Also, spent over $150 USD to receive 97 reward points which expired a month after my outfit arrived & not amount to about $2.00 discount on any purchase. Definitely find someone on Etsy or someplace else. You will not be misguided like some many of us have.
Mis-Advertising & Incompetent! DON’T USE
I’ve had endless problems this year with them. They had comissioned a order I requested to be done within 1 month, it took them 2 months and I had to chase them for updates. All they could say was ‘please understand’ Then, they had an offer ‘order by the 30th September and you will get your order GUARANTEED delivery by October 25th. So thinking I would receive it by then reluctantly put in an order for two costumes that I needed by that date. Only to be then be told they won’t be ready until the middle of November, 1 week AFTER I had made the payment. So to anyone thinking of using them, DON’T! They mis-advertise their offers and can’t even uphold what they promise. So much for being a VIP.
Worst online retailer!
This is the worst online retailer I have ever dealt with! Their website is highly misleading regarding delivery estimates, as it appears to be 6 - 9 days from whenever they feel like shipping it. With no hope of an order I'd made Sep 19th arriving by Halloween, I contacted them to cancel my order. Of course, they couldn't provide a full refund.

So, in september they had a promo on how anyone who ordered their stuff in sept BEFORE sept 20th was GUARANTEED to get their stuff by the 25th of october. It’s oct 6thz. I ordered sept 1st, and apparently they haven't even started my order? I contacted them asking if my order were to be sent out soon and i got an email back, in broken english may i add saying that they recieved my order and that i should update my shipping method, which i dont even have money for! I had to fork up just a few cents so i could actually buy the shoes for my cosplay. I got my cosplay from a sketchy, not so popular cosplay shop and they did way better than EZ did and EZ is 10x its popularity... thats just sad :( I wouldnt be so mad if they’d give me a refund but all the other reviews say that theres a 90% chance of that not happening.

UPDATE October 17th FINALLY, yes, FINALLY it showed up. I will keep this short as possible as my review is long enough. Still a 2 star even though everything was good. Overall, the costume fit PERFECTLY im 5foot 6inch 145#s med build and i choose a med size and it fits wonderfully and i have all room for clothes but the tunic is very warm i def see myself sweating in the summer events. The fabric is nice and expected for the price. The only reason im even remotely happy is because the costume is perfect. The mask looks nice and has some weight to it so long periods of wearing it will require some alterations for comfort reasons. It fits well but hurts your nose after a bit. Huge down side i will to be VERY careful with it as it is made of plaster and will shatter if dropped im hoping i can do something to a more plastic material might been better but it is made well regardless. Lastly the FAN or gunbai. I was most excited for this item, both my favorite characters use this weapon in the show. It had all crack in its bottom half and seemed like it was a bit rushed to be completed. It does still look great and looks really cool on my wall I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE NEW/OLD to cosplay just AVOID EZCOSPLAY unless you want a headache. YES, the items were very nice and acceptable but by this point i thought all i need is for the costume to not fit or look cheap and the props to be broken. Thank god they weren't. Though your experience may differ from my own, i would hate for anyone to go through what i did. I do recommend Aliexpress.com check my review on them if you like. Cosplay Ruler is a great seller. After reading a few ppls reviews i wish i came here first. i purchased $330 worth of OBITO costume MASK, PROP and costume on Sept 2nd its now OCT 2nd and i still haven't received my purchase. thats right NOTHING! i contacted them after 2 weeks and got a STILL PROCESSING from FACEBOOK. thought okay its still in the 15-20 day tailoring time, so i gave them till the WEAR date i put of SEPT 22nd which shouldnt of been an option since that would of been only 20days for tailoring and shipping. i sent an email just 4 days ago REAMING them a new one on how upset i was and how ill be taking action if they dont send my purchase or refund. the message was so vague and in broken English that IDK WTH is up with my order, i just see them laughing at me reading my emails. i wouldnt doubt anyone defending them is them trolling this site dont trust the GOOD reviews because if they really did a great job it would show in there customer service and product. im going to make it my mission to EXPOSE them anyway i can and already plan on reporting them to whatever BBB i can even if i have to contact china. i figured id get an email with a target date in next email at least since i did ask multiple times in email to provide me with one, or REFUND. NOPE i didnt just got a ''THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING'', probably automative response. So at this point i dont see it coming in time for my party and with all the other reviews i've read it might be very low quality.. my FIRST EVER cosplay buy and it was dreadful, almost makes me not want to cosplay, its been such a bad experience. next step is to dispute my bank, will update my review once the dust settles but i dont see it improving anything even if the items are amazing and what i wanted. they have left a bad taste in my mouth.

Don't buy Chinese crap
I bought a mask to save sometime on making it. Flimsy piece of garbage. Terrible screen across the eyes not like the photo. Can't even wear it because it pushes into my eyes. Of your going to buy something. Just have it 3d printed and save the hassel.

If there was an option to give it one star I would. I started off finding a really nice wig for my Halloween costume this year. I then proceeded to check out, but the order process was very weird and confusing. So I went looking for another wig on a different site. But when I clicked back to this tab, it said I had purchased the wig. When I DEFINITELY did not. I then immediately went to cancel the order, but it said I needed an order number to cancel it. I was NOT given an order number. Now I'm having to file a dispute with my bank to cancel an order I didn't make.
My inseam was 5 inches too short. Don't bother to pay for custom measurements.
I ordered a cosplay that was literally just a track suit and paid extra for custom measurements. My inseam is off by FIVE INCHES and rather than fixing it or giving a refund, customer service has been awful. After having been provided with photos showing how off the measurements are, they are now requesting the original measurements again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

Never buy anything here. They dont use pictures of costumes theyve made. I got sent my costume and was in tears. The quality is horrendous. The bow is the worst part it looks nothing like its supposed to, the white top is made of the wrong type of material plus has stains on it, the black bikini top looks like a very large bikini bottom instead of the string top its supposed to be, the obi has stains on it plus doesnt match the design work its supposed to have plus the "bead work" is the wrong color and still has the pvc writing on it, the skirt is the wrong color and the "screen printing" on it is all messed up, the staff has blotches of paint missing and is cracked. What did "Ivy" have to say? "Hi, the only thing not matching the website is the bow, due to the different factory, the details would be some differences. if you feel the size is too bid, we suggest that you can find a tailor to fix it, thank you. " This place is ridiculous.

Is there are way to put in negative stars? Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Placed an order in June for a July 20 wear-date. Two weeks later, they asked for an extension and guaranteed delivery by August 9. No communication at all until I contacted them to ask about the order, and finally responded on Aug 8 saying that they would cancel and refund. Still dragging their feet on that, no refund as of yet.
HUGE costume, horrible service
I have been cosplaying for 13 years and worked with a dozen sellers, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a website. I paid extra to have the costume custom-tailored. When I received it in the mail, the zipper of the bustier immediately fell off. The jumpsuit piece and the bustier were many inches too big for me – they literally fall off my body. The gloves are extremely small for my hands – I wear XS exam gloves, and do not have abnormally large hands – and I can only fit my fingers halfway up their respective holes. After emailing the seller for a week, communication was only going in circles with the seller claiming that sending a custom outfit multiple inches too large was completely normal and that I should simply pay get it tailored myself. Getting the costume taken in would have completely ruined the design of the piece based on how large it was for my body, nor should I have to pay additional money when I already paid extra for a custom fit, and the seller refused to send me a refund or a return. I have never had this problem with any other place before, and my group of 6 cosplayers will be purchasing our costumes elsewhere. Since the seller refuses to help, I will unfortunately be eating the cost of their mistake. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!
