Brilliant, fast service

Very good and fast service, start to finish in just 12 days from Singapore to the UK. Import charge was quite large but I expected this, be sure to use a FedEx import calculator if you want to check this. But this doesn’t involve ForwardBuy so their service was brilliant, would use again.

Not worth it

First, the buyer commission is not a fix rate but calculated based on the percentage of your purchase. I purchased a small piece of expensive jewellery and the commission they got from the same button clicking process is insane. Why? It’s not like you are going to provide me with extra insurance? The team now claiming that it’s to cover the exchange rate, well the exchange cost is covered by me and my bank, what exchange rate are you talking about? Also, not all the company need their customer to subscribe to a pay service to get a virtual address? I could have made the purchase myself but this website leave me with no choice. Secondly, they don’t let you choose from which delivery company you wanted to use, and the cost is not transparent. A standard FedEx cost from Singapore to Australia is usually around $50, got charged $70. So I got charged $70 commission and a $20 extra delivery fee. What a joke. BTW, sterling silver is not defined as a high value good, so what high value good charge are you talking about?

A Service True to their Word

Very useful service and they performed excellently. I used them to buy a shoe that was sold out here in the USA, but sitting on shelves in Singapore. I provided the link for the shoe and the money and they took care of the rest, once they had the shoe in their warehouse, I paid the extra shipping ($51) and then they shipped it that day. It took around 4 business days and the shoe was in my hand.

I ordered a bulk of books I could only find from Shopee in Singapore and the process was very fast! A lot faster than I expected which was very reassuring for me as a first time user. The fees are very fair and they got back to me very quickly when I had requested for photos. This service was great and I will definitely be using FowardBuy in the future for any other books or items I need to buy from Singapore! The package itself was very fast to be shipped out after payment and was surprisingly fast to get to the UK, all safely packaged too! Thank you so much.

Overall a very decent but slow service

Overall a very decent service. I was sceptical at first though but in the end it worked. However, this service is slow. It took them a few days to place the order with the seller, arrange a meet up and then logging the parcel in their warehouse and packaging took a good 2 weeks. The most disappointing aspect was the shipping which was both expensive and unreliable. They chose Fedex which was constantly being delayed (4/5/21 to 7/5/21) and gave wrong delivery estimates. They should allow people to choose from a range of couriers such as DHL or UPS and not limit It to FedEx. Kind of like Buyee (Japan proxy). In the end my items did arrive safely and I’d describe the overall process as fairly smooth. Although as I was buying from Carousell, I had to inform the seller in advance of this service and reserve my items. Additionally, a lot of emails between Carousell and Forwardbuy regarding which account they’d be using to buy from the seller along with shipping arrangements. I recommend this service only for items which are either rare but at a great price or stuff that is exclusive to Singapore. If you have the option to buy from somewhere else such as Ebay then I’d recommend that route as it’s a lot easier and hassle free.

Singapore to India

I ordered a product from Singapore (Shopee) to India , received it in around 30 days (from shopee to me), to my understanding the actual delay was with Shopee to deliver the product to ForwardBuy's warehouse, ForwardBuy was very fast (within hours) in placing the initial order with shopee, and when the order reached their warehouse they were fast (around a day since it was weekend) in dispatching it to me via Fedex. I had to pay taxes, that's a given when using Fedex or similar fast shippers, received the item in around 7 days (from forwardbuy to me), everything went smoothly in my case. I am extremely satisfied with ForwardBuy's service.

The process was seamless

The process was seamless. You can email them with your questions and they get back to you quickly with all the answers. Once your package arrives at their warehouse it takes around three days to process. They message you when it's ready to be shipped so you can sign into your account and pay the shipping costs. It takes a day or two to ship and then the tracking # gets sent to you via email. It comes super fast, within a week. A+++ Service. I trust them. I would do it again.
