The helmet did take months longer than…

The helmet did take months longer than they initially quoted us, but there was COVID & shipping issues. All in all, the helmet was true to it's description and my son loved it! It was worth the LONG wait!

longer than expected....but due to covid, what else is new...otherwise I was able to keep in contact for updates with not issues and had to dig in to the patience jar. Item is awesome....would be perfect if it wasn't for the size of my head.

The MK 5 Helmet is very nice and camera ready, High Quality and 100 percent However there was a small issue with the metal sticker around the chin area pealing up. Also be nice to see a more clever idea how to power this helmet. Battery case gets in the way a bit. Other than that I love it. Customer service is responsive despite of todays world challenges.

I ordered this helmet as a gift in…

I ordered this helmet as a gift in April 2021 expecting delivery September 2021. It was not ready. I sent an email and was told Oct, then Feb. Finally it was done in March 2022. My Husband was still excited to finally get it. He finally gets everything together and puts batteries in it. For over $300 it should've come with batteries. He goes to start it and the switch is broken! After all this time and money it doesn't work. He's gonna have to put more time and money into fixing it. I am so upset with everything i couldn't even send an email to express my disgust. After looking at the Instagram and seeing people get their helmet in 1 week I'm just disgusted with this whole entire process and result. You guys should be ashamed of yourself for taking money for this helmet. Disgusting.

Customer Service Lacking

Website navigation and order placement is easy. Customer service is essentially non-existent other than order and shipping confirmation notices. Product information states 4-6 months for delivery, but I received my order after 11 months. There were no status updates and when I contacted support for more information I was promised delivery dates that were not fulfilled For reference: My order was placed April 2021. Asked for update in July 2021 and response was delivery in October 2021. I received shipping confirmation in March 2022.

Product is amazing!!!! Shipping and updates on the helmet could have been a little better however I’m extremely happy with the helmet and customer service.

It took forever

It took forever! I wouldn't mind the wait but I wasn't updated at all and told dates that changed 4 times. I'd shop with them again though! I can't fault the production hiccups with the pandemic. Phenomenal quality in the helmet. Showed off to everyone and was so proud of it.

Communication was good.

Communication was good when prompted by emails from myself. Once the item was shipped the notifications were great too. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the 12 month wait. I believe a person waiting 12 months needs update emails or they will think they are getting scammed.

Took a lil bit longer than expected but I kinda braced myself. Team behind this were wonderful, they stayed in contact and replied to me in ample time . Product its self came well packaged and as advertised.

Worth the wait!!!!!

The product itself if perfect! I took 3 days short of a year to receive it. But the company always responded when I emailed them. It just took a really long time. But the helmet fits my head like a glove and functions flawlessly. I’ve had so much fun with it. Highly recommend

1 year wait but worth it Overall I think every company in the world suffered from the covid situation. Joetoys is not an exception. I understand the issues they must have been through regarding the shipping and all. I did feel like I sent my money to a scam at first as I waited for a whole year for my Iron man Helmet. But when I had the shipping confirmation and finally the confirmation from my local post office I was like a kid. The product is like no other. great finishing and amazing render. Everybody is envious.

Iron Man Mark V Helmet

This is 1st review I've left for any product ever. Ordered the helmet 3/23/21 and it arrived today 3/25/22. Although customer service always emailed me back, there was always a new reason for a delay and new estimated arrival time. I just accepted that it was a scam and I would never receive anything. Even when I finally got a tracking number in Feb, the product just sat in China for weeks. Figured that I either would never receive it or if I did it would be some cheap knock-off. When I unboxed it, I was so impressed with how realistic it looks. I am actually quite shocked how extremely well made this helmet is. I would have given it 5 stars if there wasn't so many delays. If I knew I had to wait a whole year, I would still buy this helmet. I plan to surprise my kids with it tonight. Seems everyone has had delays like me. Wrote this review to give other people some hope.

I got the moving lense Spider-Man mask and sometimes one of the eyes doesn’t open and close. Asked abs researched for help to solve the problem but didn’t get any.

So, I DID have a review here calling it a SCAM... due to the inacceptably-long delivery time (I mean... over a year? People change jobs, have kids, and move within that time). Regardless... the customer support kept constant communication the ENTIRE TIME and, despite pushing delivery back over and over again, the helmet finally arrived. I ended up giving them an ultimatum to repay me or give me a firm delivery date, and they gave me a date, which surprisingly... they held their bargain on! LET ME TELL YOU... IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!! SUCH INCREDIBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!! It aboslutely looks 100% metal despite being injection-mold plastic of some type (with a nice "powdercoat" painting, which I don't know how they accomplish!). TRULY remarkable work, and the mechanics with the motors, moving parts, light-up eyes, and capacitive-touch switches in the "earpieces"... it all makes a truly incredible toy/movie prop/costume element.
