Bought a redmi 9 through xiaomi. Upon arrival loved the look of the phone but realised it didn't have NFC which I needed. Talked to customer service who instantly agreed to refund the phone. A jiffy bag was sent promptly and was refunded after a short wait. Unfortunately the 9 pro was out of stock on Xiaomi So had to buy from Amazon. Phone is amazing, I think it's the best phone I have ever had!! Such a bargain at the price.

Have had a Xiaomi phone for 3 months and unfortunately it wouldnt turn on last week. Did live chat and they suggested some fixes but non worked so they put in a request for a work order a prepaid jiffy bag was sent out and was received 3 days later. The phone was sent off and was returned to me within 5 days. Really impressed with the quick turn around on fixing the phone and sending it back. I have always had apple phones and was dubious to buy a make I had never heard of and some negative reviews on aftercare but it was all dealt with quickly and efficiently.

I ordered my Poco X3 NFC in the early hours of 10 March and it arrived on 11 March. This was a Mother's Day present and so I called customer services on 10 March to ask whether it would arrive on time. The person who I spoke to was absolutely delightful and ensured my order went through to shipping at super quick speed. Add to that the fact that the phone was cheaper than it was available at any third party seller and that it comes with a 2 year warranty. Simply outstanding and I will be ordering again!

I've ordered from Xiaomi (UK site) and got myself a brand new phone on a sale, and I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I'm really pleased with my new phone and it's a huge upgrade from my old one. It required a second attempt from DPD before I got it but as my review for DPD states; I really love when DPD delivers to me and I had no issues with waiting a bit longer at all :)
The order was processed fast and shipped out fast IMO!
Been a xiaomi fan for years and have liked the idea and innovation goals behind there work. It is crazy to think how a Chinese brand changes my view on what is your moneys worth. Yet for some some products thats true. But In xiaomi i trust I can have a product I'm proud to own for its price and have no issues in there quality. In fact I've only used 2 phones. Previously a redmi note 4 and a new one just purchased the poco x3. Cant wait to use another product from them at a great price. Yes there are some reviews out there of people complaining about xiaomi. But in truth its a android phone just like the big brands and they are not without issues themselves. Android is free and just like any user downloading an app. Free means ads, unless you use an adblocker. Developers need there income and given an app to you for free means a few ads. Nothing to do with device. Data forget it everywhere has your data. Just be sure minded bout your own security and keep regular checks just like any android device. Read up on xiaomi and wiki it or even talk to users whom are trusted to the brand. You won't be disappointed. I've had no issues and will continue to purchase xiaomi products for the value and quality they aspire to create . :)
Ordered my poco x3 which arrived the next day. Superb value, speedy delivery and the phone is excellent quality especially for the low price (£159). Will definitely use their store again!
I see lot of negative review for Xiaomi but I purchased lot of items for myself and friends both UK and India. All are delivered fine within agreed time.
In terms of quality, it is very good value for money.
I suspect that negative review is due to general hatred towards China products. Note not all China products are bad, even we get very value for products from them.
Also, I am against the people who say it is China so privacy will be stolen. STOP that. If you are using smart phone let it be android or iOS, then your most of the data are tracked.
Hi I bought a redmi note 9s a couple of months ago. I have had different redmi or mi phones over the last few years. But I have noticed on the camera, that the colours are not sharp. Eg. Reds show up as brown, and obviously other colours do not come out as they should. Is there anything I can do to clarify this. Otherwise I have no problem with the phone. Thanks
I read the reviews for Xiaomi on here and there were so many negative ones that I was nearly put off my purchase of the Redmi Note 9S mobile. However, the reviews for the phone on tech sites were so good and the price direct from the manufacturer so reasonable I decided to hold my breath and take a chance. I ordered the phone at close to midnight on Wednesday and it was on my doorstep waiting for me when I got home Friday, delivered by UPS. Service beyond that for the moment I cannot say but in terms of processing my order and speed of delivery they were exceptional. And I am very pleased with the phone so far.
I was very apprehensive and did a lot of research then took the plunge and bought a Xiaomi phone. It came when they said it would and I am very impressed with it. I normally buy Samsung but the price difference was to great and in all honesty the Xiaomi is the best phone I have ever had. Xiaomi business model is about a very small mark up to gain market share. They would rather have something than nothing. The likes of Apple and Samsung have a 40 percent profit on each phone after giving a generous cut to media organisations and middle men companies.
Appalling lack of customer service.
Flagrant flouting of UK laws.
Phone lacking correct bands to work effectively in the UK.

They are still attempting to have me send it to a repair centre where they will send it straight back to me if they deem it functioning correctly..
I've received far better service from places like Sunsky or Aliexpress. There isn't even any way of doing anything online, the account service seems broken.. To do anything at all you need to download their mobile app.
TLDR:
When returning an item, which you likely will have to, they will send you a repair package and otherwise pretend it is a repair. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. Stick to your guns and get your return.
UPDATE: A helpful employee (Ava) on the online chat resolved the issue and I am currently awaiting a full refund. Time for refund 10-15 days after they have assessed it.. so will be well over a month before they return my money.

I have never heard of mi.com before but always wanted a good Xiaomi phone.
So made my order on the 17/01/21, the package was posted on the 18/01 and today 20/01 I have it in my hands.
Well packaged, brand new and " exactly what I wanted".
I can only say one of the best customer services I had experienced when it comes to speed and safe delivery. I do not understand the negative reviews here - there is good choice, easy ordering, tracking UPS number.
If I could afford I would use them again to buy the latest Mi. Anyway certainly will keep an eye for future opprtunities.
I can only higly recommend this shop.
Oh and dont forget the app - much easier to navigate in my opinion.
I was worried about ordering from the Xiaomi website because of all the negative reviews but I bit the bullet and ordered a new phone using PayPal just in case. I ordered on Friday at 2pm and the phone arrived first thing Monday morning. The service was brilliant as is the phone. Recommended using if you want a good value for money phone.
I didn't believe too much the 1 star negative reviews when users had one review only, turned out I was right you can check mines...
well ordered on the 30th a mi 10t lite and received it today so very happy with it for now...

I can only comment on my own experience, but I have bought three Xiaomi phones now (one for my son, one for my wife, one for myself) and not had any problems with delivery or the phones themselves.
My son's (a Mi 9, 6GB + 128GB, with free wireless charger) was bought over a year ago direct from the Xiaomi site for £300. Delivery was around 8 days and my son loves the phone which does everything his previous phone did. It outshines the Iphone 11 in every department (processor, camera, memory, battery life, screen, pixels, looks) and at the time of buying was a third of the price.
I had a Redmi Note 9 Pro about 4 months ago, bought from Amazon, and have had absolutely no issues, and still marvel at the quality of the camera compared to what I had before.
My wife smashed her 4 year old Samsung three weeks ago and was going to replace it with another Samsung (similar spec, up to date version would have cost around £250). I persuaded her to go for the Redmi Note 9 4GB +128GB, which trumped the Samsung in every department (the Samsung was just offering 3 GB + 32GB, had an inferior camera and battery life and a slower processor). The Note 9 was on sale and I got it for £106 direct from the Xiaomi website. Ordered on the 14th December, received on the 17th December, so can't get much better than that. She is also well impressed.
Looking at the reviews on here I don't know if I've been lucky, or if most people who are happy with their phones are just not posting review. But with three phones purchased, zero problems and everyone happy, I would say give them a go.
Just to offset against this, my youngest son, who has had Iphones for the last few years, is now on his second phone of the year. He had a Iphone 8 in May, had to have the screen replaced when it broke after dropping it on the carpet (!), then stopped recharging, and when we took it in the motherboard was apparently damaged. Because we bought it as a 'reconditioned' phone ('A' grade, as new, from a reputable site) they wouldn't replace it (but offered us £50 to take it back as a damaged phone). Against my better judgement (under relentless pressure from wife and son!) I have now bought him a new Iphone 11, which, at £700+, costs more than our three Xiaomi phones put together, whilst having specs no better than the cheapest of the three. Total rip-off if you ask me, but anything to keep the peace.
Again, it is from my experience only, but in my household it is Xiaomi 3 Iphone 0.
I honestly have had zero issues since placing my order. I was sceptical after reading reviews but I wanted the black Friday offer so I used PayPal and hoped for the best. Ordered on Tuesday and my it's were dispatched on the Friday, I received my parcel the following Friday after a 2 day delay from DHL but that was no fault of Xiaomi. Products received are great quality and arrived in great condition. Have not had to contact customer services yet so can't comment on that side of it and the website is slightly aggregating but the technology in their devices is great especially for the price. I'm very pleased with everything
