As a sitter I have had to struggle to receive payment and it's annoying. I've never had an app I worked for try to steal from me. Their bank will send out a payment and then decline it. It's like they're writing us all bad checks. Where's our money? The app said payout was one day they said they paid out another day. They waited for me to complain to try and then their bank declined them. They shouldn't be in business if they can't pay their employees. Ur stealing from not only the sitters but the clients as well. Lots of scams on here as well. There's like no jobs it's the worst
I used petbacker as a sitter for 1 booking. Once the booking is accepted by the client there is no way to change or modify it. Between that issue (client required 3 visits but only paid for 2), pet backers cut and then the fee I was charged thru PayPal I made $0 off of a weeklong booking. It’s nothing but a scam, DO NOT USE!

We don’t get the money till after the job is complete and it’s for the boarders safety incase Something happens at the meet and great and you also pay to prove you are not a scammer.
I really love this app for safety reasons since i know people who have been hurt/robbed during meet and greets.
The app and website are both almost unusable. Constant error messages, have to jump through a million hoops to register, and no way to update details if you move house.
I had a wonderful experience with Ashley, she watched Bella and kept me updated with pictures and photos. She also called to ask me if it's was ok for bella to go for a ride with her. On the last day bella ran out of food and Ashley called to make sure it was ok to give her some of the food she had! I would recommend Ashley and definitely would use her again!
Second booking with Petbacker! Pet Backer June did a good groom for my Yuki. She looks refresh after her grooming. The 2 ways Pet Taxi transport is an advantage!

Such a good experience with PetBacker for my fur baby. He was so happy during the stay with the pet backer. All his needs for the medicine & food was taken care by the backer properly.
Danielle on PetBacker is indeed an animal lover. We know our cats were in good hands when we saw them settling down with her within two to three days. The Pet backer is a meticulous and caring lady who gets to know the cats' names and temperament quickly. Her presence made them at ease and we are glad that we found her. She even helped us to vacuum the house when we were away!
Scam! Petbacker the app itself is terrible, the format, slowness, lack of notifications, difficulty during walks/etc. Not being paid for jobs! Been asking for 9+ days now where my payment is, no direct answer. Moving towards reporting this service to local authorities.
I used PetBacker for the 4th time, love how the Pet Sitters updating the photo and dog walk daily on the App. Also, the dog voice is cute, my dog always got alerted when the app bark. thanks petbacker
To be honest this app it's stupid,if your costumer ask for your number because it's easy to contact instead via the app because many times costumers ask me to take care of their dog but I don't get the notification, I had 45 requests .
So they decided to block me so I can't give any contact to anyone ,they want the costumer to book the appointment and pay then I will have the account unblocked.
So far I can't talk with any costumer because of this stupid policy.
I prefer then Pawshake over this app.
Dishonest & Irresponsible Practice by Petbacker and Groomer
I am referring to Singapore set up and my absolute worst experience dealing with this dishonest pet groomer parked under the 'protection' of PetBacker as well as the irresponsible/unprofessional behavior displayed by the PetBacker team in handling the complaint! To cut the 2-mth of back-and-forth long WhatsApp and email discussion, let me sum up the issues in 4 points below:
1) I paid a dishonest Pet Groomer for grooming service for my 2 Huskies via Petbacker on 14 April 2019. Petbacker then transferred the payment (minus commission fee for itself) to this groomer the next day when the grooming service had to be carried out!!!!!!!!!! OR before a post-service satisfaction feedback had been provided by the customer. In fact, there is NONE to begin with.
2) This dishonest scamming Pet Groomer then postponed this paid and agreed grooming service on 3 separate occasions over 3 weekends !!!!!!! And I then asked for a FULL refund, and there is where & when the pushing game started. Dishonest Pet Groomer made a promise to refund but did not, and PetBacker would rather refund by Petbacker vouchers;
3) After more than 2-3 weeks of email discussion to no avail, a police report was made.
4) I subsequently obtained a refund from PayPal on 12 June 2019.
So I will not recommend Petbacker to anyone!
I work trough this app for about a month and I get to take care of different pets and they are cute. This is the app that linking owner to owner so it's safe for the pet owner to take care of your pet as they love pet too and so they will taking good care of your lovely pets.
This apps really help pet owners get a reasonable price and trusted pet sitter with certain requirements. You can compare different pet sitter to get a better offer. As a pet owner, I would choose this apps to find a realible pet sitter and update me everyday to make sure they are okay and enjoy.
