We understand the concern, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
Just to clarify, the Starter pricing update isn’t tied to any single feature. It reflects continued investment across the broader Symphonic platform - including collaboration tools like SplitShare, analytics, royalty workflows, support infrastructure, and ongoing improvements to the overall experience.
Our goal has always been to offer more than just basic distribution, and to keep building a platform that actually supports artists as they grow.
Even with this change, Starter is $29.99/year - about $0.83 more per month - and we believe it continues to offer strong value compared to many services that place similar tools behind additional fees or higher tiers.
If you’re open to it, we shared more detail on the update here:

我从 Symphonic 得到了很多关于如何通过他们的平台发行专辑的指导,我们已经在路上了。仍然是个谜的一个领域是如何处理 Apple Music 上的 Instant Grat 曲目与所有其他 DSP 上的“单曲”之间的差异。直到第一张单曲发行日期前的最后 48 小时,这一点才变得清晰,因此我们确实必须加紧努力创建单曲图形并完成单曲发行流程。现在一切都很好,但最近几天压力很大!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We’re really glad to hear that the coaching and guidance helped you move forward with your album release, that’s exactly what we’re here for.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us—we understand how concerning this situation must feel.
The discrepancies you’re seeing between platform analytics (like YouTube or Facebook) and royalties can sometimes be due to differences in reporting timelines, monetization eligibility, or how each DSP tracks and processes data. However, account restrictions and upload limitations are something we definitely want to look into more closely.
Please reach out to our support team directly (if you haven’t already) so we can review your account in detail and provide clarity on both the restriction and your earnings. We’re here to help get this resolved as quickly as possible.
We’re glad to hear you received a quick response, but we understand your concern about the lack of detailed, personalized guidance, especially as someone new to the platform. That’s not the experience we aim to provide.
Our goal is to offer clear, helpful answers tailored to each artist’s needs, not just point back to general resources. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with the team as we continue improving the quality and depth of our support.
We’re glad to hear that support has been accessible and helpful, as that’s a key priority for us. We also hear your point about the interface and are continuously working to improve the platform experience.
