Horrendous! Never received items. Contacted seller who repeatedly refused to give a refund, just kept asking me to choose something else. Tried the resolution centre and they disnt help at all. Stay well clear of this company total theft and con. In. Response to the response from DHGate, i already have followed that process already and got absolutely nowhere.

Terrible experience

I would strongly recommend avoiding DHgate unless you want a poor product and even worse customer service. I bought some replica sunglasses which were of very low quality with plastic lenses rather than glass which wasn’t specified. But the worst part was I ordered black but was sent brown and despite two weeks of back and forth with the seller (sweetgo) and customer services I received just 25% back in refund and silence ever since. I’ve now deleted my account and the app…

Seller not delivering item, customer service/ seller response not responding to requests. Watch out for “lost item” it’s a scam they are not responding to get refund for not delivering Also DHGate customer service absolutely no help. Just AI loop. No help at all

🚨 DHgate is BLOCKING Negative Reviews!!! 🚨

I've discovered something which should worry anyone using DHgate... 🚨 DHgate is actively misleading buyers by actively blocking negative product and seller reviews! 🚨 It's bad enough that DHgate skews ratings by defaulting every review to 5⭐ when the buyer hasn't submitted a review in time, but it's now clear DHgate is blocking and removing negative reviews. This helps explain why you see so few negative 1⭐ product reviews and why most sellers / stores have near 100% positive ratings. I've lots of examples, but here's the latest example which proves what DHgate is up to... I received an item full of defects and missing parts. The buyer didn't care. I had to raise a claim. DHgate's solution was a 20% refund. This solution wasn't satisfactory (but that's another story), as it penalised me and benefitted the fraudulent seller. Obviously I wanted to leave a negative review. However there are two challenges: (1) The review free text box blocks negative comments about the seller or the product, so it's very difficult to write something which is accurate and will be accepted. Using words like damaged, defective, fake, poor quality or counterfeit can be enough to block your review. (2) IF your review is accepted by the free text box but is overly negative, the system then blocks it from being posted and you have no ability to edit it. Your opportunity to leave any review is gone! I managed to write something which was 'accepted' when I pressed 'Submit button'. The review was very negative about the product and the seller - it look me a long time of re-wording to get something which was 'accepted'. However, shortly after submission, DHgate systematically dissociated my review from the transaction, so my written review disappeared and there's no negative review on either the product or the seller's store!!! So other potential buyers checking the reviews, they will not see my negative review. And to make things worse, I've spotted many of the reviews for the product are fake. So DHgate is allowing fake reviews, and removing negatives ones! Upon checking the product listing, my review does not appear against the product or the seller. So the seller appears with a near 100% satisfaction score and the product is 5⭐due to the default system policy. This isn't a one-off. This is repeated systematic removal of negative reviews by the DHgate platform. This practice is deeply harmful to buyers. How can you really know if a product or seller is good, or indeed, bad? Why is DHgate so determined to mislead buyers? Once a buyer has a poor experience, they're not going to buy again, so it seems like DHgate is deterring any customers it has from buying again. SUMMARY: We all know DHgate is a platform heavily used for purchasing counterfeit or duplicate products, however, DHgate is clearly designed to mislead buyers and supports fraudulent sellers at every opportunity. This is a mistake. When a buyer cannot trust the platform they are buying from, they will begin to look elsewhere. This is why DHgate is failing to grow and buyers are turning to other platforms to buy Chinese goods, as DHgate's policies penalise buyers. * The blocking and removal of negative reviews shows that DHgate is actively misleading buyers, is rewarding criminality and tells you all you need to know about this company *

It’s a scam

It’s a scam, 60% of the sellers are a scammers and the website helped them, I got LEGO set purchase from DHgate website. The product was explicitly listed as containing all necessary parts to complete the full model. Yet, upon delivery, I found that I am being asked to buy additional pieces in order to finish the set. This is a blatant misrepresentation of the product.

So Dhgate has now come back with the standard response. " We're sorry to hear" bla bla "contact us on" bla bla. But you can't be contacted DHGATE. Here's a suggestion DHGATE YOU CONTACT ME !!!. ps. Still waiting on 4 more items 🥱🙄, will update when they arrive, if they arrive!

Delivery issues

318316989190- order number Nightmare dealing with this supplier for this order have contacted DH gate to raise a complaint about 4 times raised a ticket about it spoke to a customer advisor on the online chat asked the supplier about 6 times to send out my order keep getting same reply been processed was told order out within 15 days was agreed time now over 15 days still waiting on my order seller saying still been processed and then told me will be 3 to 5 days be sent out that was a week ago now really disappointed with this seller as have used other sellers on DH before and had no problems

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered a football jersey. Showed up the wrong jersey. Filed a complaint and they agreed to resend. Never did. Gave me the runaround for months, kept my $ and never reshipped. Total Scam!! The seller gave me the runaround on purpose to get past the refund date, even though the item was already in dispute. So THIS IS A SCAM!!! The process DHgate replied with below isn’t available and they pretty much suck as an organization. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I’ve purchased a flower bed from a seller at DHgate called (reliefstore), they didn’t have enough common sense to know the item wouldn’t get passed customs “not my problem” anyway, the item never made it to me. Mind you, I was also taking chemo while trying to get my refund from this thief. Still till this day, it has been back and forth because they refuse to refund me back my $70 dollars! This all started back in June 2025. We’re going into May 2026, still they are going back and forth because they don’t want to refund or let me even get an exchange for something else. My Bank made note of their Bank, there’s a huge investigation over their repeated theft. Just make sure you stay away from seller “reliefstore” don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Avoid this company!

If I could have scored this company 0 stars then I would. Very misleading website, shoes in photo not matching actual colour chart. Shocking customer service who offered little or no help to resolve the problem. Just told to reorder with small discount then changed their mind and said they don't offer refunds or return! If you value your money then do not buy from this company. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

What a fool I've been

What a fool I've been, I ordered 7 items from DHgate. So far I've received 2 Polo shirts, ordered in 2XXL size and both are really really small and very short on length in the back. Definitely not designed for Europeans. And here's more good news I've another 4 items to come so I'll keep you posted on this saga. Oh by the way your probably wondering why I didn't return or cancel my order, the answer is very simple the SITE TO RETURN/CANCEL/ OR GET A REFUND DOESN'T EXIST. Also when I went to view the order's I'm waiting on guess what apparently I have none. MORE TO COME!

Order Not Received – Immediate Refund Requested I have been unable to contact you through the app for a week. This is unacceptable. If you do not provide a refund, I will be forced to contact Poste Italiane and request a chargeback. Order number: 318287785631 According to DPD tracking, the package has been marked as delivered, but it has been stuck in Poland since April 23, 2026. I have not received anything. Please issue a refund as soon as possible, otherwise I will proceed by contacting my bank.
