Made 3 orders over around a week after opening account after good reviews from friends, orders were all waiting dispatch which i had been told could take a few days. Login to check if they have been dispatched and get a message saying my account has been deleted. Tried to email but got return to sender, used alterate email I found on the internet and same issue - have tried to use live chat but won't let me do that without logging in which I can't because my account has been deleted. Seems to be no way to resolve and have no idea if orders will be dispatched or I will get a refund. UPDATE So access was regained. You are not able to use the link as that asks you to login to speak to customer service. I regained after speaking with customer service via Facebook Messenger. Since then all orders have arrived fine, generally all take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Have revised my star rating.

So I ordered an item that never showed up. The seller after asking me to add him on WhatsApp whice I refused preceded to reply to my messages with * or / or ?. After disputing with dhgate and sending screenshot of sellers reply to be fair to dhgate they apologised for the sellers behaviour and issued me with a refund. So overall experience not so great but 4 stars cos dhgate did deal with it.

Decent clothing,but the sizes are never the right fitting.Always either shorter,longer, sometime tight or loose. Professional cowboys on dhgate. Been a customer of this site for several years and on the whole have had some decent personal items. Went to purchase a phone cover and this time the site wanted to validate the payment card I was using. I have used my payment method on this site many times before with no problems, but now suddenly my card is suspicious. To make my humble purchase I was required to provide everything an identity theft merchant would require: copy of my passport with photo; copy of my driving licence; copy of a utility bill showing my name and address plus more. I refuse to give these personal details to a company based in China. My bank checks it's me by texting or emailing my phone - that should be enough for an online shopping site. After several years, I will no longer be using this site as I no longer trust them. My personal data is valuable and I do not intend to splash it all over the internet for a phone cover!!
