The only reason I don't give the 5 stars is that the back wheel is just slightly out of balance but not enough to really get it trued up. The front wheel was true. Also hubs are good but don't roll as well as my Zipp R30's that cost less. Still I would recommend these wheels.

The wheels are ok. They are a little stiffer and harsher than I hoped on rough asphalt.. I was offered 15% discount and then when I placed the order you would not give me the discount. Bad practice!

Hardest rims I've ever seen to mount tires; rear wheel came out of true and wheels flex so much on sprints while standing they rub my chainstays. But I think what disappoints me the most is that now that I want to return them, ICAN isn't being very responsive.

Really good response on all inquiries, I did have some delivery stressors because USPS must have a signature. My order was delayed by a week because of the national holiday. Unfortunately I had a trip planned and couldn’t be home to receive package. Very close to USPS sending package. Great condition when finally received. I replaced my heavier aluminum aero wheels with the 2019 aero 55-86 carbon wheels. Very happy with these wheels so far. Using as clinchers on 10 speed drivetrain. Pros: They look great Lightweight and aero Easy to spin up (faster) Hill climbing is easier Hub is fairly quiet Price Cons: 41 of the 42 bladed spokes were twisted at the nipple. I straightened them. Probably doesn't affect my speed but still bladed aero spokes should be straight. Had to true the front a bit. Rear was off 1 mm but acceptable. Might be related to me straightening the twisted spokes. Other: 14 days from ordering to receiving from China, as they advertised. Got tracking number via chat session. Didn't get tracking email until 11 days after placed order. Not a big deal, wouldn't ship any faster. Just FYI. Rim strip is black on the black rims. Can't see if it moved any after mounting tire and tube before inflating. Any other rim strip color would be better visually. I didn't use the ICAN brake pads so can't comment on them. The ICAN cassette spacer (for 10 speed) rattled a lot. Simply resolved by using my old spacer. The park tool nipple wrench SW-16 works great on these deep rims.
Very nice rims, i bought AERO 86/55 wheelset and it has very nice build quality, makes you go 3-5 kmh faster on average and that is a big advantage. Although aero spokes were not aligned ideally, so they needed rework before installation. Brake pads that were included do not give good brake performance, maybe they need some time. I have ridden 100km so far and I am happy.
I purchased the Aero 40 disc wheelset as a gift for my wife. The buying experience was simple though shipping information was scarce at best and the tracking provided was not at all helpful, which is why I gave a 4 star rating. However, the wheels arrived in a week well packaged and safe. Build quality seems good and the wheels spin true, the spokes were all properly aligned. Mounting folding wire bead tires was a challenge but no worse than any other carbon wheel that I have used. The first 150 miles have been great for her with an increase in avg. speed and no problems. Proper delivery tracking and status would have increased my rating to 5 stars as I would not want this package sitting at my front door all day. I would purchase ICAN wheels again for my road and mountain bikes.
The wheels look great and roll great. I had a hard time getting my tires on the wheels and couldn’t get the bead to seal tubeless. It may be the tires but I don’t know as they were previously on a different rim tubeless.
Processing/shipping much faster than expected...wheels are great for the price...
UPDATE: ICAN finally responded via email and stated that they had originally given me the wrong tracking number. So, I was tracking the wrong order. I have been given the new tracking number and my wheels should be here today or tomorrow. I will update once I get them. Never received my order and nobody will respond! I ordered a road bike wheelset from ICAN and they shipped it to Michigan and I live 761 miles (1173 Km) away in South Carolina. I attempted to chat with them to find out how they were going to fix the issue and they said they would get back to me and I haven't heard back yet. My wheels have been sitting in Michigan for 4 days now and here I am without my wheels, $688.00 out of pocket, and no-one will respond. I've tried chatting and emails with no response.I am extremely frustrated to say the least.
Would be 5 star except front axle is too long. Otherwise, very happy with the weight and quality. Very easy to set up tubeless. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.
