Wheels arrived quickly and well packaged. Rear hub is super quiet when freewheeling which I like. Only issues I had were with mounting my tires. I couldnt get them on brand new gp5000 tubeless continentals. took them to a local bike shop who said there was no way they would fit and tried to sell me clinchers and tubes. Emailed Ican to see if they had compatibility issues with certain tires. Never got a response. Beware certain tire brands can fit drastically different. Bought a tire bead jack off amazon at recommendation of a guy from local ride group. He said its just the tire I was running and not uncommon to not be able to mount them onto carbon wheels without use of a tire bead jack. With some soapy water, the bead jack, and laying tires in the sun was able to mount both tires. Wheels ride great so far(100 mile), were true out of box, and saved me 3.5 lbs over my gravel wheels and tires. Only gave 4 stars due to lack of response from Ican.
Had to cancel my order after wasting 2 wks on chat
After placing my order, I had to spend two weeks on a chat with ICAN team. Here are excuses from "the major frame manufacturer" - 1) we ran out of frame of your size. 2) We no longer produce your frame with such bottom bracket, 3) EMS returned your package, because it was too big. 4) EMS cannot accommodate our parcels at all.
Finally I canceled order after they asked me to cover extra $80 in their shipment cost...
FL 50 wheelset arrived very quickly, just 4 days shipping from EU warehouse.
Nicely packaged, wheels look great, roll incredibly fast and are light too.
Some lateral flex but compensated by smooth ride.

The wheels: not too bad. Very lightweight and come at an affordable price. I heard plenty of comments about how they might need truing out of the box and that the breaking surface has been known to be defective causing a slight warped feel when braking. Despite these reviews Ii purchased the wheels and was happy to find they were fairly true to begin with. They do have a slight warped feel when braking but I am not sure it bothers me enough at this point to go through the hassle of returning them. Also the wheels are nearly impossible to fit tires on. I had to leave them in the sun for hours to warm up, use at least 3 tire levers, and have someone else help me. Lol. It was a bear to fight but we got it done. If you are not too good at putting on tires to begin with I would recommend going to a shop. If I ever get a flat on the road its going to be game over and I will have to just call a ride.
Customer service: this is where I had to drop a few stars mostly. I ordered these and it took over 4 weeks to get them. Now I understand that COVID has slowed down a lot of shipping times and also my wheels had to come from from the China warehouse since the one in the US was out of the wheels I needed. Shipping time is out of the company’s control for the most part, but how they handled it is where they dropped the ball. In my case I received an email from customer service to let me know that the wheels would take a little extra since the US warehouse was waiting to get a new shipment in. I said that was fine, and waited an entire week before I heard back and this time they made the offer of shipping directly from China at an additional cost to me in order to try to get the wheels sooner. I told them that I was not about to pay extra for a product that they advertised as being able to deliver in 5-7 days. At this point I had waited over a week so no I was not looking to give them any extra money. More time went by and communication was very slow. At about 2.5 weeks into waiting I emailed the company to complain about the slow customer service and lack of info on where my wheels were. Same guys from customer service emails me back and all of a sudden is replying to my emails promptly. In the end I convinced them to directly ship from China at no extra cost to me. The next day I get word that the shipment we were waiting on finally arrived in the US and that there was no need to ship from China. So once they were in the US, they quickly shipped in a few days, but overall it took nearly a month to get these. And when I had initially complained, the company’s initial solution was to charge me to ship them directly from china. So like I said, I am not too upset about the shipping since they have little control over that, but how they handled it was disappointing.
They advertised second-hand wheelsets for about 70% of the original price. It sounds a fair deal, that's why I decided to order from them. Communication was great, after the purchase they contacted me immediately, to ask me if I accept that the wheels might be damaged or even useless, with broken rims, damaged hubs and missing spokes. Obviously I cancelled my order, after I asked for real photos of the wheels which they don't have.
Money has been sent back to my account immediately, which is correct, but it still doesn't help me to understand how is it possible that they sell something what they don't know anything about.

I noticed that the original place with reviews is gone and you can't find my earlier review. They probably had too many negative comments and needed to transfer the positive review to a new place. I'm suspecting that this site will get removed soon as well.
I purchased Aero 50 wheels last year in june. The wheels were decenly packaged but right after I mounted the tires on them and set them up tubeless, the wheels didn't want to stay true. I had them trued twice and the rear would eventually get back to be out of true after a couple of months. Usually it would involve spokes coming loose. Last couple of months the rear hub started developing a horrible creak when under power. I have been riding my other set of wheels since then but I'm guessing that the bearings in the rear are shot.
I guess you get what you pay for. Their website talks about fabulous hubs with sealed high quality bearings but that's not the case, and they also taunt the self locking spoke nipples but the spokes still get loose.

So I finally received my frame. I standby the shipping issues I experienced however the fatbike sno4 frame I received from I can is supurb. It vastly exceeded my expectations and has so far preformed very well. I do recommend ICAN they just need to re asses their international shipping.

Currently my bike frame purchased from ican has been lost by DHL with no updates on when I will receive it or where it is. ICAN should look to a better shipping solution in the future.
Well the order was package horrible. Second didn’t come with skewers brake pads or rim strips. Front rim is out of true. Has a giant bump in the braking surface and not safe to ride at all. Terrible wheels and super disappoint. Wasted all my money on these and are junk
This is the second wheel set with Novatech hubs I’ve owned. The rear hub is garbage. The clutch struggles to engage from time to time and you hear that loud pop.
I now have 1000 miles on these wheels. The rear hub cones were not lubed so they made noise.
The dish was not aligned in the right rear wheel. Non drive side spokes were not to tension.
I reached out to the manufacturer for specs on the spoke length to replace the rear hub, but they have not responded after a week.
Update: 6/15/2020
Squealing noise was coming from both hubs now. After further maintenance, the bearings started to form rust. Poorly lubricated if any at all. The bearings are of poor quality. Nothing was lubricated on or around the axle. The cones were not lubricated either. Front hub not serviceable, you can't remove end caps to get to bearings.
Never heard back response from the manufacturer.
I don't recommend this brand or company nor will I buy again from ICANN.
There are other brands you can get better build quality.
For this price, I just purchase the Zipp Course 30 which have great reviews for about the same price point.
The shipping and tracking were not as prompt or accurate as other things I've ordered online. The wheels feel light, but have taken some getting used to in crosswinds where they are somewhat jittery.
1st order was lost, after 16 days contacted customer service and Perry placed 2nd order. My order arrived 1 week later. The Aero 40 wheel set I ordered looks great and seems like a good quality product, have only put around 40 miles on them so far, they performed and felt good, hope they stand the test of time.
Only issue I’ve found is, tires are very difficult to mount onto the Aero 40 rims. I recently purchased another set of the Alpha pro disc 35mm wheelset w/o logo and tires are much easier to mount.

I purchased a pair of refurbished discounted wheels from ICan. I live in Canada and the pair of wheels I puchased was in a US warehouse. I exchanged many commnications before the purchase with different employees from ICan enquiring about the condition and specifications of this particular set of wheels using my " dot.ca" email address. I decided to purchase the wheels to be informed a day after the purchase that the company could not deliver the wheels from the US to Canada!
At no point during my different communications I was told I could not purchase the wheels.
So much for this International company that cannot deliver internationally!
I bought the wheel-set for my road bike.
I am very happy with the price, weight and quality of components.
I went to my mechanic who's a serious wheel builder and he did check spoke tension and everything was well done and uniform. He was quite impressed with overall quality and mentioned it looked to superior to more expensive wheels he had tested (regarding tension).
I only did a short ride so far and they ride pretty well. The 50mm will catch side winds so not good lightweight riders but this is normal for a high profile.
Not giving the full 5 stars only because of packaging which could be improved, the rest deserve 5.
Perry is very friendly and will answer all your questions pretty quickly.
I would buy again and recommend their products to friends!
Beginning of the transaction was great! But even though I ordered the incorrect part, I was given options to adjust the wheels to fit instead of exchanging for customer satisfaction! The product would be great if it fit! But the options afterwards were not acceptable for great customer service!
I purchased a Fat bike carbon frame, Carbon wheel set, and the fat bike crank. The threading where the pedals thread into the crank arms failed within 1/2 mile ride. When I contacted Ican, but was told, I did this. I have worked on my on bike for the past 6 years, and this is my second bike build. I did not cross thread, and only tighten finger tight. I spent $1600, and Ican won't help me out with a crank arm. So far(4 hrs of riding), I really like the frame, and wheel set. Ican does not stand behind what they sell, so hope you don't get a dud.
