Very bad way to di business. When you order all is fine, then they ship 1 frame looks Nice but parts are missing they forgot, had to wait 1 extra month. Next order. Asking about a frame if they had it in stock, yes they have, I pay the invoice and they dont ship the frame. They suddently dont have the frame in stock. I cansel the order and ask for payment return, 1 week later no payment return 😡😡
I bought a Triaero sno4, same as ican, last year. I built it up with a wren fork and rode it 4 times. Took it off a 3’ drop and the rear seat stays both snapped in 2. It was a really fun bike but the geometry in the triangle goes from compressing the shock in linear fashion but as it gets deeper into the travel, the link is too short. What happens is the seat stays start to go from pushing the shock to the shock pushing down creating a bending moment on the seat stays. This causes the shock to bottom easier the deeper into the travel as the seat stays start to rotate downward, taking pressure off of the shock and the shock let’s the rear triangle smash into the seat post. It’s just a very poorly engineered design that if you ride hard you absolutely will snap them off. The seat stats Are strong when pushing straight on, but as soon as it compresses and the the shock starts pushing down on the top of the seat stays, they will break. They sent me new ones and I sold it and told the buyer he can not jump it.
very unprofessional. deliberately evading answers or giving wrong ones about products. the truth comes out after you make the purchase. then starts a bazaar of "alternative options". after the fifth time and many days later, they refunded my money. worst experience ever.
Purchased a Gravel-X frame. The chain rails are supposed to have a twist in them. The frame they sent have straight rails. After contacting Perry he admitted that there were two different style frames. There was no such info when I bought it. He offered me a water bottle cage or $20. After an $850 purchase and the wrong frame this is just not satisfactory. They then said they would refund after I pay to have it shipped back to China. I bought it from the US store!
Ordered a Road Rimbrake Wheelset from Ican. Estimated delivery time was 5-7 Working Days. It was 6 weeks ago that I placed the order. Still didn't received my order or any answer or reaction on my attempt to contact them!!! You have no chance to get in contact with them. I wouldn't recommend to Order there..... Buy somewhere else where they have a working customer service.
Bought a gravel frame..fork was damaged. Won’t send new part until I pay for their damaged part to be shipped back to China…terrible experience,
I can verify all these claims with videos and emails exchages. I order a pair of ICAN wheels , it was delivered faulty, the freehub body that could not engaged. When I wrote to ICAN with a video of the faulty freehub. Instead of ackownledging that the wheel was faulty, they sent me a video how to remove the freehub body and service it. I told ICAN i do not have the tools and therefore need to send to the bike mechanic to be service and requested ICAN to refund the cost of service. 50USD. They initially agreed but the was no refund for the cost of repair. After the repair, the freehub was engaging intermittently, I had several close shave, when i engaged in peddling, the freehub slipped i almost fell on the side of the traffic. When I wrote to ICAN , they wanted to send mt a freehub body and expected me to replace it. I had only used the wheels once and my ride was cut short becaused it was hazardous. I felt cheated. The quality of wheels and their service is extremely shameful. And ICAN claimed their wheels to be UCI approved . All buyer ought to be informed this is ICAN wheel quality and service. Hope this will help buyers make informed decision when getting a set of wheels.
I can't a response for replacement bolts for my p9 as rear triangle bolts fell off.
don't trust this people , I bought from them over AE and they don't send what they promise in e-mail if you ask custom parts... small problem on item ... solution resend all on your costs...
I placed a order from the US warehouse that said it was in stock. ICAN sent me a message they are out of stock a day later and said if I send them another $155 they would send the wheels from China. I believe this a bait and switch effort and would not suggest doing business with them.
BEWARE! Ordered my snow 4 on 9/23/20/ said a couple weeks then it will ship. It took over 2 months to get. I rode it 5 times and the rear seat stays snapped like twigs. I rode off a 1 foot log and I weigh 190, so it was not a huge huck to flat by heavy rider. The real issue is frame geometry. When the shock compresses the rear link moves the seat stays toward the shock in a linear motion like all rear linkage does. Problem as the shock compresses deeper in the compression stroke the link comes past center and actually deflects downward forcing the shock to be pushing downward on the seat stays causing heavy side loading instead of compression loading causing the seat stays to snap. now the fun begins. They dont respond to email, they don’t respond on chat, my original sales rep does not respond and my credit card company is charging them back. That should get their attention. this bike will never survive anything more than easy terrain as the shock also bottoms so easily again due to it poor geometry that actually instead of the shock getting progressively firmer deep into its compression stroke, like a normal bike, as the seat stays drop lower and the shock presses downward instead of rearward, the wheel travel is accelerated the deeper the compression Of the shock. With 160lbs in the shock, I can lean over the bike and pull the wheel up while pushing on the seat with my upper body. Lots of force to do that until the shock almost is at the bottom of its stroke, at that point it nearly collapses and takes half my effort to hold it in bottom out position. Try that on a proper rear end and you need to Hercules to do it with shock pumped up. the stays actually flex enough that the linkage hits the seat tube hard on bottom out just by me collapsing The bike with air in the shock. Unfortunately, the Bike and paint are really nice. if the rear suspension were engineered right, it would be a really nice bike. The rainbow paint is super cool. A simple rear link and seat stay change would make this bike a bargain but it will not take even normal xc riding unless you are super light or just ride smooth terrain.
Order was placed on Dec. 31st, the frame was claimed to be in stock. Three weeks later the order status has not changed. I thought shipment would happen faster when the frame was in stock. I hope it will arrive soon, though, as I expected everything to take up to 6 weeks. The customer service was responding very quick, polite, and helpful.
Aero 55 ICAN purchased online from Ican China, received after 9 days in Saudi, that is fast service. Tried them in 6 two hours ride, i can tell my average speed increased in the thirties by around 1.5 kph , Wheels look great and are pratically true. Fixing the tire is a workout. Overall i am satisfied from my investment

I don't know yet. The order is not yet completed. I have ordered beginning of december. And an UPS label has been printed mid of december. But since then no further notification/status update... UPS does indicate not having recceived the parcel yet. A question to ICAN where the parcel is, yielded no answer other than: "delayed, we'll inform you if there is an update". Jan-23 shipment is still due. Fast but useless communication.
The only negative was the cost of shipping. Have purchased from vendors that drop ship from China and was very minimal or free. The wheels arrived in perfect condition. Checked them on my truing stand and all within less than .5mm. Aero spokes not inline so some had to be adjusted straight. Spoke tension very good. Honestly, workmanship and manufacturing as good if not better than a set of $2,500 name brand wheels that I have on another bike. I’ll have to put some mileage on them to say if I would recommend or buy again. So far I would though. Thank you Ican Cycling!
Ordered a frameset on 11/28/20. According to their FAQs, shipping is 36hrs if in stock, 10 days if not. Emailed "Perry" and was told on 12/9 they were experiencing delays due to Covid-19, but the frame was being painted. 12/27, still cannot get an estimated shipping date, told it was 'being painted' and could I wait longer. It's obvious they don't have the frame in stock. I'm cancelling my order and requesting a refund. UPDATE: after notifying them the order was cancelled, on 1/4 they emailed me that the frame was going to be shipped. I told them the shipment would be refused and demanded a refund. THEY SHIPPED IT ANYWAY! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
I'm a little bit disappointed with buying things from the UK shop, and then getting a delivery from China, which lead to import taxes. I would not have to pay taxes if the package were delivered from UK.
They offer on their internet pages things they don't have. They don't bother to check their inventory and update their pages. They take your money before they check do they really have the item you want to buy. You might end up loosing your time and money for nothing.
