Consumers frequently point out that expensive power tools and batteries fail prematurely, leading to significant disappointment after heavy investments. Buyers often mention exorbitant repair costs that nearly match the price of purchasing entirely new equipment. Some reviewers were happy with specific heavy-duty tools, describing them as powerful and long-lasting for demanding daily tasks. My new M18 pole pruner tool vibrates…

My new M18 pole pruner tool vibrates badly and is quite noisey straight out of the box. I made several attempts to contact tech support, witting over 20 minutes on hold 3 times with out ever talking to a tech person. Dont know wether to use it or return it. Prety poor service for a $699 tool. I have around 20 Milwaukee power tools. I like the tools but tec support has been very poor and seems to be getting worse.

M18 Chainsaw and Battery

A few years ago, I bought an M18 Fuel 16" chainsaw. I have been using is successfully over the years. In June of 2023, I experienced a house fire that was a total loss. It also took out my tool shed. My M18, battery and charger were in there. The charger did not survive but the battery and chainsaw did. Fast forward a year later, I finally got into a new house that needed a lot of tree removal. I got a new charger. The chainsaw and battery, despite the damage, worked flawlessly.

Wish I had know about the lack of…

Wish I had know about the lack of customer care and support for contractors. Spent $6k on the M18 ProPress tool set with the additional kit for up to 4” presses. Set up an “after hour” job at a commercial account, shut down the whole building water supply and started cutting out bad and corroded supply valves to all be replaced with new valves 09/09/2024 After the third crimp/press the tool absolutely failed, shut down and wouldn’t turn back on. WHAT!?!?!?!? Brand new set, never used, fully charged batteries and BAM….the tool itself wouldn’t power back on. We tried everything to get this tool working again since we were now in a complete mess and a total cluster but nothing worked. Of course Milwaukee tech support or any type of customer service was closed. Left a message and as of today four emails. Still no response and we’re left with a possibly lost commercial account because our company looked incompetent on the job. Thanks for everything…I mean nothing Milwaukee

Spare part availability

When have being buying milwaukee tools since 2007 with v28 and m28 we own most of the range of m12 and m18 but we have always struggled with spare parts and consumables We have been waiting 8 months for a part for the m18 compressor. And if you look on eBay the are lots of broken ones for sale. Time to try a different non ITW group brand!

I have owned a cheapie draper impact…

I have owned a cheapie draper impact wrench for years with no problems when I decided to upgrade to a more powerful one I opted for the the Milwaukee hi torque had it 18 months charger already been replaced under warranty now one of the 5ah batteries has give up as well Also got a Milwaukee rivet gun that has already been replaced under warranty as well don’t think Milwaukee are a good tool maker anymore

DANGER ‼️ WARNING ‼️

DANGER! ‼️ WARNING ‼️ Milwaukee 3/8 M12 brushless ratchet now smoking and smells of electrical burning after very little use. It’s about two years old, never done anything other than spin nuts and bolts off. Tried to contact customer service here in UK, their service site is a nightmare. We’ve uploaded everything the site tells us to, and not even a confirmation email. Shocking service. I won’t be using this, don’t even want it repaired or new replacement, it’s a fire hazard. Do yourself a favour , buy from another tool supplier, they might look great, but they are a fire hazard in your house/ garage.

Yesterday I put my battery on charge

Yesterday I put my battery on charge, the light was green as a full charge then blinked red and green... (for information, I've been using it for 20 hours since I bought it) so I decided to disconnected it from the charger and suddenly the battery exploded and caught fire Very dangerous, luckily I had put it on a large stainless steel plate otherwise my house could have burned down.

Are you playing

Are you playing, or is this a joke. On May 3, you opened an invoice with this service order number SV6338725 and you returned my equipment to me without any payment because I explained to you that this equipment was purchased at POP August 09, 2022 Home Depot, I returned the machine to you because the technician left the 4 large screws loose and 4 small screws in front loose PLUS the damn LED for lighting does not work because your technician was doing things to his liking without rules like in the wild,... let me tell you that I work with that little machine and there are lives to spare. medium... when your staff is working, remind them that this machine must be in perfect condition, any malfunction can cause accidents to innocent people. Make sure that the torque of 700 lbs up is correct. If you do not agree, fire them... I want my machine as it is. And since I gave it to you with its screws well tightened and its LED working just as Milwaukee Tool's sales policies say, the equipment was always stored and used 3 times a month... I want my 2 YEAR warranty just as MilwaukeeTools does. It says,... I will send you the purchase receipt again and stop being stupid,,... I will leave several bad reviews on different Google pages and social networks and I will not delete them until they solve the bad job they are doing,... please The Milwaukee Tool is perfect but the staff is second nature. This equipment has insurance and warranty. I also have the 500 dollars for the invoice and also 2500 USD to purchase an Ingersoll Tools equipment. I want your name to publish it on social networks. I hope it is the manager, I will publish any information if it is negative, my machine has a Milwaukee warranty full stop

Hi defective tool

Hi, this is more about a defective tool than anything else and the way Milwaukee is handling or not handling the whole situation. milwaukee has sold us multiple 9" cut off saw that have a major defective issues. I figured out what the problem was and apparently this huge company couldn't is very doubtful to me.This is the defect Milwaukee: [take notes] if you charge batteries with a 4X charger it melts the plastic around the far left contact to the point it will no longer make a connection and the 450$ is now useless. I'm not going to go in to much more detail than that but this is not just one battery bought by one person. I actually bought 10 cut off saws [$8000] within a year with approximately 30 12 amp batteries [$14000]and 8 ~ 4X chargers. [$2000] total of [$24000]. ive brought this defect to everyone possible at all levels of Milwaukee higher ups [ all managers at all levels ] and they've decided to stick there middle finger up to a good size purchaser of there tools. So what ill push for from here forward will be to go back to the higher quality of HILT tools. They don't sell defective tools because they don't have to, hence there reputation . SO SOLID... in final this will be copied and pasted everywhere i can so everyone can see how you operate Milwaukee. Oh one last thing i actually was on hold for one hour waiting to talk to there development team they never picked up the phone but while i was on hold, customer service called me stating the development department asked him to call me. Why they just didnt pick up the phone is probably because i told the original operator i was recording the conversation. He was the one who transferred me to them based on our conversation. The marketing team knew i had some hard questions they didn't want to answer. They wonder why people get Angry. we get angry when a large company basically knows there stealing from us and than running away when they get caught,.

Miwaukee Does Not Honor Warranty

My Milwaukee battery failed after 7 months of light use. After 2 months of trying to get it replaced still no closer to getting one. Took it to Milwaukee authorized service dealer and they could not get it replaced as well. Milwaukee now wants me to go to the service dealer and get my battery back, take pictures and send to them. I see this as another stall tactic. Do yourself a favor and buy something else!

Like an imbecile

Like an imbecile, I decided t ignore the reviews and purchase some ratchets I wanted right from the web site. I have never, ever, in life experienced such a constant, relentless nagging for cookie settings, sales, full screen popups, relentless. What really sucks, is that I have many addons to stop this, and they still get through. I can only imagine the torture one would experience with no protection. I was finally FORCED to bail, when I finally found the search bar, and after searching, received a FULL SCREEN no escape pop up. Click. Goodbye, forever. Y will never go back, and never, ever do business with Milwaukee or purchase anything Milwaukee for this reason. What a sick, sick joke these fools are. If I want to be relentlessly nagged to death, I'll get married.

Dont buy a replacement Milwaukee chuck buy Rohm

I have a Milwaukee m18 cordless drill. The chuck locked after very little use.I had to slice the top part of the chuck with a angle grinder so that i could get to the chuck screw. After reading all the other bad Milwaukee chuck reviews on many other sites. I went for a new Rohm drill chuck instead of a Milwaukee. They are such a superior chuck in every way.I would highly recommend them to anyone. Come on Milwaukee get your act together and listen to your customers. They all cant be wrong.
