Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. People express deep frustration regarding unhelpful customer service teams and major obstacles when trying to process warranty claims or secure repairs. Consumers frequently point out that expensive power tools and batteries fail prematurely, leading to significant disappointment after heavy investments. Buyers often mention exorbitant repair costs that nearly match the price of purchasing entirely new equipment. Some reviewers were happy with specific heavy-duty tools, describing them as powerful and long-lasting for demanding daily tasks. A few buyers additionally shared positive experiences dealing with representatives who quickly resolved their issues and provided helpful assistance.

Absolute scrap!!!! Purchased a cut off saw for €650 with this One Key crap and it’s like new with little to no use and I have just been informed that it’s scrap and not worth repairing. No way did it do 6 hours work. Avoid at all costs because their customer service is just dreadful!!!! Never ever again will I buy anything Milwaukee….
M18ONEFHIWF1-80Milwaukee M18ONEFHIWF1-802X M18 FUEL One-Key 18V 1* 2400Nm Impact Wrench Kit - 2x 8Ah Batteries, Charger I bought last year spend over £600 pound It’s stop working I spoken to e service they said warranty expired it’s three years warranty I bought last year I got proof of purchase as well
Bought my first Milwaukee tool while my Snap on was in the shop. i never switched back to snap on.
M18 4 gallon switch tank sprayer. Sucks !! I bought the whole sprayer a few years ago plus extra tank. Pump goes out in one tank that same year after being used twice they won’t replace. Buy another then have problems with that one. They replace with a one time offer. I always have problems with the tanks or motor end. Finally the motor end won’t do anything! Have used it approximately 10 times. Total b.s.! I have 3 tanks and a motor pack if anyone wants them. Going back to DeWalt! I have a m18 drill that I have put 3 new chucks on it. They work for a few times and then won’t keep a bit in tight for anything. Sick of poor manufacturing!! Batteries loose a small screw and then fall apart. Why can’t they use bigger screws and use loc tight before they send them out to be sold? Tired of poorly made tools. Going back to dewalt! I have family and friends that are dealing with the same crap!
12v fuel hammer drill didn't have much power. Only used a handful of times. Milwaukee Repair, Toronto replaced parts that didn't need replacing and tool still doing same thing. Charged me an arm and a leg and told me if I didn't like to email customer service.
Have a palm sander and it quit working after 5 months. Sent in for repair and they said it wasn't warranty. Because the sander had debris in the motor. It's a freakin sander. Can you please tell me what wood dust it was also oak, cherry, pine never buy again
I have to agree with all of the bad reviews here. I bought a Milwaukee multi tool 10 months ago. The second time I used it it died. It looks like the pins that go into the battery are missing. Nothing happens when the battery is in and when you try to charge the battery it blinks red and green. I tried to return it by going to their web site but it constantly froze. I tried calling but they constantly hung up on me. Home Depot won't exchange it because it's been over 90 days. I went back to Home Depot when the Milwaukee rep was there. He tried every possible way to blame me for the problem by insinuating that I damaged it, put it in water and didn't store the battery correctly. He eventually laughed and said he wasn't surprised that I was having problems since the tool was "already 10 months old." He was unable to get the web site to work and tried calling Milwaukee. They hung up on him! He was eventually able to get through on an internal phone number and fix the problem on-line and print out a return label. It took two hours! and I had to agree to pay all sorts of fees, pack it up and mail it myself. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The name Milwaukee used to mean something
Bought a pair of M-12 work radios which sound great when they work. One blew over in the wind in the bed of my truck and the LCD display cracked. The second stayed in my home and looks brand new. Now that one quits playing after 30 seconds whether on a full battery or A/C adapter! Once i called their customer service to see if they would help, after the serial number revealed it was over a year old, the agent hung up on me before i could give her the serial for the second. I would gave expected more helpfulness for a contractor who has an entire assortment of M-12 tools. At nearly $200 a pop, I would expect more durability out if these shockproof radios which have never been abused! I guess since they're manufacturing their products in China, they don't care about their reputation any longer! BEWARE!!!
I have a lot of Milwaukee products, including clothes. Overall I am happy with most tools, however their service is terrible! I bought two 9 amp batteries and few years ago and thought that I was doing something wrong with them, only to find out that they were all faulty (after the warranty expired if course). This whole past year I have been trying to get service for the clamps for my mitre saw to its stand and am continuously brushed off! They are all about sales, not at all about service.
Sent a drill and 2 batteries in for repair. Both batteries were scrapped without checking the proof of purchase for warranty. Then I received a different drill back that is just as broken as the one I sent in for repairs. It's been a month so far and I'm farther behind than when I started.
Own a plumbing shop and dropped off a Milwaukee pro press for its first calibration service and never received a call. Reached out and found email they entered for our business was entered into there computer was gmail not yahoo. Phone number was proper but no calls were received letting us know the status. After three months found tool was sent back to local repair center in Eden Prarie , Mn .still no phone call and after 35 days our $2500 tool was scrapped and customer service had sever excuses why !! Don’t you think a phone call would have been given before you throw a local plumbing shops $2500 tool in garbage . We have several service trucks and all are stocked with Milwaukee tools and after this that will change. Company is not standing behind the businesses that trusted and built this company up to what it is today . 3rd generation dedicated Milwaukee tool owner and very let down .
It's advisable to avoid Milwaukee Tool Co. Their service is poor, and you'll likely receive the runaround.
I have called Napa, Home Depot, Oreilly , went on line to try to find the part #s. NO ONE WILL HELP , no one wants my money. I guess PEOPLE ARE LAZY, all my company wanted was to buy some tools , for a fair price. my last call was to Milwaukee tool themself, the guy called me back and would NOT HELP with tool look up, I am glad he is not working for me, love the tools but as usual NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ........................
When the majority of people using these tools most likely use them to make a living, warranty repairs taking over a week before they even get looked at let alone repaired let alone get returned is beyond unacceptable. Then to make matters worse, emails to Milwaukee asking what's happening with the repair get ignored. Such a shame when the tools are good but the after sales is an absolute joke. Certainly time to change tool brand. Shame I can't send them a bill for the money iv lost been without my tool. Disgusted in the level of service I have received from Milwaukee.
I bought a pair of Milwaukee kneepads six months ago. I only used them a couple times and both straps pulled out. I wish I would’ve looked up reviews on the kneepads because this is a common problem. Unfortunately, that’s not the worst part of this. Milwaukee doesn’t warranty any of their products purchased on Amazon. Milwaukee only warranties products bought from an authorized dealer. With such poor quality products I understand how they try to get out of providing warranties!
I love Milwaukee tools. I had ryobi and the burnt out one by one. So I switched all of the to Milwaukee and they have been going strong
I will never by Milwaukee Tool again. Plainer, circular saw and screwdriver. The circular saw don’t start as it should it chops and jerks when it is supposed to start, up to a point where it nearly does not start at all. Had it fixed for around 150 € (half the price of a new) and it lasted for maybe 10 times use and then the same problem came back. This took some time because I didn’t use it for some time. Have not gone back since it is 150 km drive. When contacting the Swedish Milwaukee customer service they only reply that it is an issue to bring up with the place where I purchased it or had it service, both 150 km away. My guess is that since it is past the warranty it’s pointless to contact them… For the planer, it unscrew itself, the main cutter head, had it fixed at a service center, unscrew itself again within days, had it fixed again and now it seems to be holding, but it is very hard to get a clean surface since the front part is so flexible. The screwdriver chuck jams..
One Key table saw. If I could give this company a no star I would. It all started when I locked my tool out to prevent my children from getting hurt. Then I go to try to connect to unlock tool and I’m unable. They have done Literally nothing to resolve my issue. But instead want me to pay 345.00 dollars to make my tool work again. A tool I have already spent 600 on along with all the other Milwaukee tools that I purchased before knowing what king of company Milwaukee is. Shame on you.
Purchased a Milwaukee drill M18FPD2-0X with box. Cheapest price I could find and with free postage included. Excellent experience from start to finish with great comms and fast delivery. Tools4trade highly recommended!
