Conned me out of 3 year warranty by changing the portal url from eservice to warranty.milwaukee back in 2024 the conning thiefs. After 16 years and 34 tools in the eservice portal they all say 1 year warranty as nothing was said on new registrations on the eservice URL I have made since then but the eservice portal allowed me to register the tool and upload the invoice within 30 days without saying anything. Will be moving to Dewalt/Makita bye bye milwaukee made in china!
I can't give them a 1.. because in the end.. the tools ultimate do the job needed as intended by the end of the day...
I give them a 2 because.. This company has gotten so big, that they let it go to their heads. They focus too much on power.. that the quality deteriates.
I tried to contact them about it, which lead to this review... I have a few ideas for quality improvement.. or attachments that could better protect the product, so Things like.. the Batteries... would break down less...
They told me they refuse outside help, thoughts, opinions, and ideas..
I'm over here like.. I will literally sign documents stating that I want nothing to do with my accepted designs or thoughts.. I just want my investments in my tools to work so that I can earn my living at the end of each day....
The fact that they are so unwilling to accept any ideas, even fully free ideas, shows me they truly truly don't care anymore. They know their bottom line won't be effected...
So I started searching for a better product...
I think I'm going to get Flex24 a shot... The build quality vs power seems to be very innovative.
-- If you are surprised I didn't mention Dewalt.. let's face it. Dewalt has the quality down.. but not the Power. As an acting Mechanic in the rust belt.. I need things that will break a 30mm++ fastener... not something that will struggle if it won't break lose. Milwaukee, as terrible as the quality is.. Has never ever left me wondering if something will come loose or not.m That fastener is coming loose or it's breaking. Nothing in between. I am happy with that.
Just purchased a M18 F2CHS50 Chainsaw, most overpriced product I have ever purchased, batteries are useless and run out of charge after 10 minutes, take ages to charge on so called rapid charger, do not waste your money, buy petrol instead.
The customer service at Milwaukee Tool must be improving! They recently (7/21/26) treated me with respect and honored a warranty issue on a battery that died prematurely! They had me run a couple of tests over the phone and determined that the (expensive!) battery was, in deed, defective. They shipped a new battery to me within a few days...TO HAWAII! No charge! Easy! And no original purchase receipt required.
Had a new mower catastrophically fail after a few uses. Customer service had me send them the tool for diagnosis and said they would ship me a new mower immediately. That was a lie. Two weeks later, they just created a label. Not even shipped yet!!! One, I shouldn’t have to make sure that a new tool is assembled correctly and everything is tightened down before I use it or risk getting seriously injured. And two, if a major company can’t keep their promises to their (past) loyal customers…they are going to lose loyal customers. Milwaukee Tools has gone way down in quality and reliability it seems…I’ll think twice about buying another major tool from them.
I will NEVER buy another Milwaukee tape measure! Every one of them whether new or used will not stay on the item you're measuring. I've been dealing with this for 25 years - I'm DONE! The company is working on its past reputation - tools have gone to crap.
Bought a milwaukee m18 ccs55 circular saw 4 years ago which I've used about 10-15 times suddenly stopped working, been quoted £132 for a known issue with these machines electric field and switch. I've contacted milwaukee uk with no reply.
Go to Makita makitatools.com Milwaukee‘s customer service is so bad if you ever have problems with your tools, which happens all the time on job site
A team does not want to help me and they give me problems about sending me new products which broke on me so many times on a job site. It does not reliable for a job site. I would go straight to Makita with. I’ll work with you right away, send you a new product that’s it. Can’t be that you’re working on job signing to break. They want you to wait a month for your tools that’s retarded. They don’t give you the manager like you asked for it. They start questioning you. I just want the manager that’s it.
This company has got to be the worst tool company ever delta with, just contacted them after the last rench broke telling them ok after 7 years of arguing of items broken, with a brand new rench paid for in Saturday they cant even find the item on their system when I said it's a lifetime warrenty didn't know, also cant register it to the system? The seller removes the sale after 6 months. So no way of showing the purchase? Milwaukee full of warrenty lies as always. Worst most pathetic tool company ever purchased from.
I've purchased almost the entire line of m18 fuel tools specifically for everyday hardwood flooring installation and I've had to replace almost every single tool. I purchased several batteries that aren't covered under warranty after 3 hrs which is exactly when the batteries stop working. I still have some older dewalt tools and batteries that are still functional after 10 years of use. I'll never purchase another product by Milwaukee! I'm in the process of switching back to dewalt. Very very very dissatisfied. Don't buy these tools
So I bought a 5-in-one toolkit about 6 months ago 7 months ago don't worry because I have all the purchase information right from my homepage on Home Depot I'm really disappointed the battery I got in the five-in-1 kit with the tool bag skill saw impact drill charger two batteries and a flashlight my flashlight don't work one of my batteries won't charge and everything else seems to stop working my motor is grinding and making noise in my impact I'm really disappointed I spent over $500 on these tools and I thought you guys were like lifetime you're not going to honor your replacement if something goes defective it ain't my fault I put a battery on a charger and it won't charge my flashlight stopped working haven't used it very much is trash don't charge no I use the impact constantly on every vehicle or every job I do and I have to keep stopping to charge One battery don't tell me to go buy more because I should have to I should be able to swap out to my batteries everyday while I'm working in my shop you want to purchase information tell me how to send it to you also my 3/8 ratchet that I bought by itself in the Box because I had two batteries given to me the ratchet quit working you going to replace that or what probably not huh I'm just screwed don't worry I'm just going to give you guys another negative review on Google too and everywhere I can and tell you guys make this right highly disappointed how can I run a shop with a guaranteed really nice tool I thought you guys were amazing I bought sockets from you guys because I use them everyday all day long and they're the best no complaints there your power tools suck though and I want to replacement
Im afraid to say they are not what they are made out to be! Got £1000's worth of their m18 tools, they are just not very good quality! 3rd combination drill, under warranty, 2nd multi tool, 2nd jigsaw, sander just out of warranty and failing, circular saw has no guts on any 18mm mdf or plywood! The leaf blower is good, the sds is good and thr impact driver is good but the rest are really basic diy grade, unfortunately I have loads of batteries, but won't be buying anymore! As they die i will switch to makita or dealt, its a shame really
Unbelievable UK Official Milwaukee service agents in Kent.
Unbelievable UK service agents in Kent.
I got a Milwaukee framing nailer last week, on the 2nd day of work I put it down and it fell over and bent the nose assembly and seized. Sent it back to their service agents via their e-service website having registered my proof of purchase and contact details. Was sent back to me by return with a 3 line piece of paper saying I hadn’t provided proof of purchase.
Unreal… why didn’t they pick up the phone? I’d have emailed them whatever proof they wanted.
What a total shower of crap.
I've spent thousands on Milwaukee tools. All I needed was a flange nut to attach a brush blade to a weed whacker—both their products.
Their customer support told me the part doesn't exist. That I'd have to buy a new weed whacker. After four hours of calls, lies, and runaround, a different tech finally said "oh" and ordered me the flange nut for free.
So either they're incompetent and don't know their own products, or they're scamming thieves. Either way, they cost me half a work day with no apology, no accountability, and a promise to "get back to me when they feel like it."
I'm done with Milwaukee. Also done with Ryobi, Hart, or anything made by this corporate machine. Lowest common denominator customer service. Scum.
