5th Third Alger Heights was…

5th Third Alger Heights was disappointing today. It was crowded and my husband's concern was urgent since money was being snatched out of my husband's account. He spoke to the head banker and she told him that she had to go to lunch, and gave him a number to call that didnt work, and told him that she only had one other person to help. Fortunately, Natalie was nice enough to assist him while a total of $2000.00 dollars was removed from his account. While she was assisting him she could actively see funds being removed. Debit card was closed and his concern was addressed promptly by Natalie. Thank you Natalie.

20 year customer with the great bank of Fifth Third

I have been a customer of Fifth Third bank for numbers of years almost 20 I think and I appreciate that service. I was frustrated recentlythough because due to a change in phone number, I was unable to access my account for two weeks, resulting in late fees on my bills. I am leaving this information so other people will know if they change their phone number. Thank you. Denise M

Frustrating and Disappointing

I have personally banked with another bank for over 30 years. When I joined a HOA board, I was "obligated" to use FifthThird services. I wish I hadn't. I expect the same services and service level I receive from my other bank. I'm constantly disappointed. I requested a debit card 4 times before I got it. I finally requested deliver at the branch to ensure proper delivery. As promised, I received a call to be notified the card had arrived. When I went to pick it up, nobody could find it. It was frustrating to see so many workers looking at several locations with no success. It appeared they had items scattered throughout the branch. I had to return at a different day. At some occasions I get there 5 minutes before the close time but the door is already locked. Once I went to my usual bank branch right after. I arrived a little after normal business hours. It felt like I were in a different planet. The branch was colorful and bright with a big lighted signed that read: Welcome. The teller acknowledged my presence with a smile and greeted me with another "welcome" They serviced me as I were the most important person on earth which I'm very thankful. Other times, the lights at this FifthThird branch on Scrock Road/Westerville, Ohio, were already off, the calendar was set for the next business day, the ladies had their purses either on top of the desk or on the counter. Another teller had a car key and wallet on the counter, as well. I mostly bank online. Their app doesn't have the same functionality, resources or user-friendliness of my personal bank. I'm struggling to adapt. What about customer service over the phone? I've just heard the attendant say she had to end the call because she was not allowed to be in the same call longer. There have been other frustrating experiences like when I waited over 30 minutes to speak with a banker. Oh, well.. it's a bank so they do their job keeping our money and they don't directly ask me to leave so they can part their ways. That's good.
