It has given me the confidence to continue to be able to do the things I can do living in a two level house. The gentleman that installed my chairlift was very knowledgeable and explained the in detail how to operate it and told me the different parts that was very helpful.

My wife has relied on our Acorn Stairlift for years, so we were concerned when it ran much slower than usual one evening and called for service. It turned out that it had simply gone into "safety mode" and there was no real problem. Gordon, the technician, explained exactly what happened and installed an updated board. He had it running like new, and was so helpful and pleasant. Kudos to Gordon and Acorn.

The young professional and knowledgeable man was Kevin. He was extremely nice to my mom and answered all her questions. He took chair apart, cleaned brushes, oiled track , checked battery. He was very smart about the acorn chair! Very knowledgeable and we will be asking for "Kevin" the next time we need help!!!!

There were problems during the installation of the stairlift, including damage to my carpeting. Although I was told that the company would remove the stairlift when it was no longer needed, I was never informed that there would be a $600 removal fee. Because this is a curved stairlift, it has little to no resale value since it was custom-built for my staircase. In addition, Acorn does not sell replacement parts to third parties, making it even more difficult to resell or refurbish the unit.

Patrick, sales rep, was very thorough in explaining the process from buying to install . He was professional, warm and friendly like an " old friend" and eased our minds as well as answered all our questions. One of the best demos was when he showed us how the rail would be installed directly on the stair treads and even had a visual layout. My sister and I felt at ease and fully trusted his knowledge and expertise. The install went smoothly and the testing of the stair lift went smoothly. Highly recommend Acorn above all others!

I needed the stairlift so I can stay in my house due to bad knees. The price was fair the rep was nice, thorough, and professional. The instillation went smoothly and again the installer was great.
