Bought a collection of 31 volumes of Scott Internationals. Nice bonus in the internationals were a complete set of Vintage Reproduction pages in excellent condition which I will use in my collection. Only issue I have is the listing stated "perhaps 100,000" stamps. I am an accountant so I inventory everything unfortunately. The stamp count was just under 60,000. Quite a bit of a difference.
Wonderful choice and great prices...for a collector.... But...when you turn 80ish and its time to think of other things.... I did not buy as an investment. In the last 10 years I have spent $15,000 with them. Also I have spent about that much with other dealers. With the travails of old age I hoped for a small return. Was offered $750.00 for $50,000+ catalog value. Ouch! --John Crawford of Pueblo Colorado.
Excellent across the board!
All stamps were in sound condition. Also, a couple of nice values such as #44a Prussian Blue.
Item as described, shipped quickly and well.
Very timely shipment, if only I could get the St. Louis distribution center to do the same
Always very quick to resolve any issues that might arise.
Quick shipment. Good prices. Thanks!
My order was as advertised. I am very pleased with everything.
Fast, courteous service. Easy website navigation and purchasing experience. Great communications.
I appreciate all the photos for the lots. It gives a good idea of what is included. The fact you ship almost immediately is truly appreciated also. This was my second purchase from you, won't be the last. Jeff.
Missy was great to work with when dealing with the payment options I had while making a large purchase. Great customer service pairs nicely with the quality material I have come to expect from Apfelbaum Inc. Thanks as always!!!
Service is unbeatable but everything very overpriced and many lots are posted without a deep inspection resulting in lots with many faults.
The German stamps were stuck to page and there were several pages missing in the older section. Heligo Land German stamps were also missing.
