For reference only.The English speaking guides organised by Zeva for us were very attentive especially the one in Xinjiang who goes by the name of Sofiya/Zulfiya. She paid attention to every detail. There were some details to be managed and Zeva with her guides were flexible and arranged everything to suit us. We enjoyed the tours organised and all heritage sites were memorable visits. I would recommend Zeva to arrange all tours within China as I will be using them again for my next visit.
We were a group of 8 people from Malaysia, all English speaking with an ability to speak a little mandarin. Our agent, Isaac, was very good, helpful n crafted a good itinerary for us in view of our age (62-82). He fulfilled our requests n arranged good guides for us. The guides were knowledgeable n caring. Jim was especially caring towards the elderly n Jasmine shared vast knowledge of her heritage, the Tujia people group. All itineraries were fulfilled n with careful arrangements according to weather conditions n timing. We had a wonderful cruise down the Yangtze river on Sat night, the only night of the week where we could see the drone display from the boat. We had a very wonderful time. From the beginning of booking to doing the tour and heading home, Asia Odyssey was an amazing travel company to work with! Fox helped us book the 5 day trip for Zhangjiajiae-Furong-Fenghuang and she was so easy to message during the booking process. The accommodations and the private rides and tours were all set up for us! As for the tour itself — Olivia was our tour guide. She made us feel very welcomed and she had so much knowledge about the sites. Both my husband and I enjoyed the days seeing the wonderful sites. We are so grateful for her and her team! Asia Odyssey travel guides were better than other agencies, drivers drove carefully and smoothly and provided assistance when needed. Special mention of travel guide Ms Lily of Suzhou. She provided assistance to me which not many will voluntarily do. I very much appreciate her support on many instances of uneven ground and terrain including her team mate driver Mr Chu (if I remember correctly) who was also very kind and went out of the way to service us.

Overall the trip was very well organized and no hiccups at all in terms of the logistics & rides. The drivers and the tour guides were all friendly and efficient. My mum who was 84yrs old was very well taken care of throughout the entire trip. I will certainly recommend Asia Odyssey to anyone looking for private tours.
Been to Century Victory Yangtze cruise from ChongQing to YiChang. Great cruising experience! We just got backfrom a 9 day China tour. Everything was lined perfectly. I could not asked for a better tour agency.
Ashley was great. She checked on us frequently to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The itinerary took us to all the major attractions. All transportation arrangements, tour guides and attraction tickets were coordinated for us. The guides even took us right to the ticket counters and expedited our processing for the intra-country plane and train trips (they even walked us to the right train track)! This helped minimize any anxiety about missing a flight or rail. I highly recommend Asia Odyssey Travel.

We booked a private 13 day tour for 4 of us, through Blair Liang. Blair’s communication and understanding of the things we wanted to do were planned to perfection, creating a seamless and wonderful itinerary. Thank you so much Blair 🙏 We visited Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian and Beijing. The drivers and guides were all outstanding and very professional. A special mention must be made to our driver and guide, Carlos, in Xi’an, who really provided a special experience especially once he knew the foods we were dying to try. Thank you Carlos and your driver who treated us so well. Asia Odyssey made our trip stress free by booking great 4*star hotels, transport, internal flights and trains. The tours each day were personnel seeing the exact things we had wanted to see. China is an incredible country and we look forward to coming back to make new memories. Very good experience with Asia Odyssey Travel. My contact was Runny and everything was very well organised and explained. From a simple online query, i got a very quick response and a lot of information and the itinerary for the 14-day trip Shanghai Zhangjiaje Xi’an Tibet trip was decided on in a matter of days even if that trip was prepared months in advance. About 3 weeks before the trip, I paid the balance and everything was booked, it was all seamless without any stress or hassle. Necessary permit was obtained. Even a reminder to be careful about type of charger to avoid problem at customs was sent. The choice of hotels was very good and I had a comfortable time. At some point i think the hotel was upgraded. Even the accommodation at the everest base camp was better than expected. Generally all guides were good. they knew their stuff, drivers were also helpful. Can definitely recommend Asia Odyssey Travel. Will reuse this company in the future.
