Our trip up to Chautauqua was excellent, and I would rate it a 5.
We had very professional drivers. It could not have been better.
However, on the return trip, our drivers were not nearly as professional, we had to stop on the PA Turnpike to allow bus computers to "fix themselves," we had to make a stop at a bus depot in Hagerstown, MD to drop our two drivers off who were out of hours, and pick up a new driver. This stop took a lot longer than described.
It turned out to be a nine hour drive home, getting us in at midnight.
Ryan was a wonderful bus driver, very accommodating and would go out of his way to help our passengers and staff, and going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and happy! Thank you Ryan & Atlantic Coast Charters!
I have booked with Atlantic Coast for the last 10 years. There service is very good. The drivers are kind and polite, and they arrive on time. The price for the charters are reasonable As well.
The driver is so nice, helpful, and an all around good young man and driver. All the passengers love and geel comfortable with him. This last charter bus was amazing.
While you were great to work with, I wanted to express some disappointment in the bus driver we had.
1. He arrived at 11:30 am, when I went out to talk to him and introduce myself, he didn't tell me his name and when I asked him if he was ready for the day he said "I don't have a choice".
2. We had the bus filled with our guests, and were waiting on one more. I told the bus driver that we were just waiting on one more person and he turned to me, clearly aggravated and said "we need to be on time" while tapping his watch. (Weren't we contracted for 7 hours and had flexibility if needed?) 3. Our guests spoke to him as they boarded the bus and several exclaimed how unfriendly and rude he was.
4. After we left around 12:15, he proceeded to make a wrong turn down a windy and narrow rode causing us to go 30 minutes out of our way. A guest of ours was able to get him turned around and on the right route. We lost 30 min of our time because of this mistake. Normally I wouldn't make a big deal about it, however he never said anything to us about it and he was rushing us in the beginning of the trip.
5. We ended up staying at the first brewery, skipped the second and went to the last one to finish our day. At the last brewery, we had a guest that turned her ankle causing it to swell. When the bus driver dropped us off, we all said thank you and I tipped him. The injured passenger got off the bus and then tried to limp down the street with her husband helping her. She literally lived 4 houses down from us and the driver had to pass right by her house. He was downright rude about allowing her to get back on the bus and get dropped off in front of her driveway.
Our neighbors did a trip and worked with April, back in the spring. The bus driver for that event was so amazing. He was friendly and nice. We filled this bus with neighbors from the same community and this family joined us as well. There was a lot of lamenting about what a difference it was from the their trip due to the attitude of the bus driver.
Thank you for listening. We had such a great time and could easily see doing this again or at least one of our neighbors doing it. I don't want one driver to affect the opportunity for future business.
Drivers and staff are friendly and efficient. On a rare occasion bus could have been better. Seat spacing not good. Some times could have been cleaner.
Drivers where excelent,I'll give 5* but bus was ok,I'll give 3.5*,bath wasn't working properly and seat where to small,they where suppost to be large seats.

Kudos to the personnel in the office as they are very excellent in helping with the trips and payments.
Bus was on time. Bus was clean. Air conditioner did not work very well in the front section of the bus. Bus driver was professional. However, one of the riders accused driver of running 2 red lights. My rider was visibly upset. I addressed the driver to ensure we all return safely.
This was our first use of Atlantic Coast Charters, the bus was exceptional with working wifi and electrical outlets. The bathroom was clean and did not have the musty bathroom odor often found in bus bathrooms.
Our driver Kevin -- 5+ stars, very professional, helpful and fun personality (will definitely request him for future trips). He arrived early and picked us up on time for departure (and kept conversation going with our Pastor).
Overall - from working with Melissa to secure the bus, to arrival of the bus and our driver Kevin - we had absolutely no issues - will definitely use again. Thank You!
