I have purchased from Berlin Packaging for quite some time and had previously been pleased with the product selection and speed of delivery. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has changed that.
The 10 mL rollerball bottles I purchased have been leaking my essential oil product during shipping, and I have received multiple customer complaints. Before contacting Berlin, I did my own quality-control and stress testing, including different fill levels, carrier oil viscosities, and cap-tightening pressures. Their own product description refers to a functionality meant to prevent leakage by depressing the roller ball when the cap is tightened, so I was trying to determine whether the issue was user error, heat during shipping, torque, fill level, or a product defect.
When I reached out to customer service for help troubleshooting, the response was rudely brief and unhelpful. I was told, “They shouldn’t be leaking.” Obviously. They obviously should not be leaking — that is why I was contacting the company for support.
After further prompting from me, the agent also said they had not received other complaints about these roller bottles leaking, as if that resolved the issue. I found that dismissive. I was reporting an active problem with a product I purchased from them, and I expected some level of engagement, guidance, or follow-up.
Instead, I was left feeling that my concern was not taken seriously. I am deeply disappointed that I did not receive the level of customer service that I work hard to provide to my own customers.
At this point, I no longer trust Berlin Packaging and will not continue spending my money with them.

Supplies I’ve used for years are still available allowing me to maintain a consistent packaging aesthetic. Back orders are fulfilled promptly. Customer service is excellent. I would have given a 5 star review if sizes were always given in ounces vs ml.

I needed 7 boxes of bottles, Total was $748 and shipping was $800?
