What people say

Great tool. Very fair price. Super customer support

Great tool to fit your bike exactly to the bodys measurement. Much more precise than tables from other brands. In one week you can try different settings according to the achieved riding style. There are also tipps for the cockpit setup (so great) and for best fitting bike models on the Market. The only negative thing I think ist the limited time (one week). But the price is more than fair. Great thanks to Jaap for the goodwill to help me with issues after the payed week.

nothing indicating its paid

nothing indicating its paid, so if you're landing here and make all the measurements it's asking to pay at the very end - while still collecting your data including email.

Dear customer, on the first page of our bike fitting process we communicate the costs in the largest possible font size. I am sorry that you overlooked that information. https://bestbikeadvice.com/int/en/bikefitting/

Too expensive for something that chat gpd can answer. Anytime you take it further (e.g. for searching a bike), again you have to pay. That ist not fair.

Hi Harald, I find it a little bit strange that you decide to give us a 1star review because you think chat gpt could do this as well. Should we now score any non AI activity with 1 star as soon as someone thinks AI could do that as well? If you believe chat gpt is the better option for you, please go for it. You do not have to buy our service. I personally tried chat gpt before. And it looks really impressive what chat gpt provides. But I was not able to get a suitable bike fit result out of it. It was too generic and several specifications were not clear or not correct.

It's simple and effective

It's simple and effective. Even the unpaid version will give you a rough idea, the paid version allows you to play with the parameters. I used it to adapt my previous bike as well as starting from my new one with nearly no feel of changing bikes

Great product for adjusting your bike

BestBikeAdvice is a great way of adjusting your bike to a better position. I've used it for my road bike in preparation for an Ironman and for my MTB. The last time I also used it for a MTB that I build from scratch. In that process I noticed that a few factors are not included in the calculation of the ideal sitting position. Think of the width of the handlebars, which affects the distance between saddle and handlebars. But also factors such as suspension are not included. These are nice additions that make the product just that little bit better and more professional.

Dear Customer, Thank you for your review! We’d like to clarify that our MTB bike fitting tool does take both handlebar width and suspension effects into account when determining your optimal riding position. • Suspension & SAG: During the fitting process, we ask for your front and rear suspension travel. The tool automatically factors in the typical SAG percentage, ensuring that your riding position remains consistent—whether you’re on a hardtail or a full-suspension bike—once your weight is on the bike. • Handlebar Width & Back Sweep: We also ask for the “effective back sweep” of your handlebar, which increases with wider handlebars. This is integrated into our calculations to ensure a proper fit. If you’d like more detailed information, feel free to reach out via our contact form for a direct conversation, as we don’t have your contact details. Looking forward to helping you further! Best regards, Jaap Best Bike Advice

You go through it all and then you have to pay. Oh and then it's cheaper because you are disappointed. Pathetic.

Hi Jon, I'm sorry to hear that you were surprised by the cost at the end of the process. We strive to be as transparent as possible about our pricing and have taken every step to communicate it clearly upfront. The price is displayed prominently on the very first page of the bike fit, using the largest font size on our website. You can see this for yourself at https://bestbikeadvice.com/int/en/bikefitting/ . Best regards, Best Bike Advice

I do like this approach of doing the bikefit yourself instead of paying someone (too much) for doing the bikefit for you because it makes you understand how and why geometry changes. You can also do several attempts which is nice, because I think the 'perfect bikefit' doesn't exist, it depends on your shape, training load, etc. One remark, the navigation pane should be more clear, it can be difficult to find back your bikefits, there should be some history table.
